Great quality, loads of fun!
Great set for a kiddo who just loves rocks! My son sat with a magnifying glass for hours. Love that there is a book included for continued learning. The set is exactly as listed and shower in the description.

Very cool!
This is a cool learning resource, gift, or addition to collection. It includes so many different specimens. The kit is cool for any age and also includes an awesome guide. My kids loved the fossils as well. There are many topics that can be covered with these! The box is also reusable and easy for organization. Small bags are also included. The only con is the magnifier is tiny. But that isn’t a big deal. Everything else ROCKS! ;)

Fun/educational game
My son and I enjoy playing this game. We have learned a lot about different rocks and minerals and have already used that knowledge in everyday life. There is a bingo side and a tic tac toe side, a few different options on how to play. The only negative we have found is that sometimes we have a hard time finding the rock that matches the description. Some are not as obvious as others, but it’s only a few that we had trouble with. All in all a fun educational way to learn about different rocks. My son is 8 and stayed engaged with the game the whole time.

Very well packaged
The set came enclosed in another box which i appreciated since it was shipped with a flat of energy drinks. The box of rocks was also wrapped in shrink wrap to keep any loose pebbles inside which was great because one of the bags inside did open or wasnt sealed completely so there were tiny specks of rocks everywhere inside the box. The pictures made it seem like all the rocks would be at least big enough to examine but the majority in number are little bigger than a few grains of sand. The number "over 300" is certainly correct though if you count all the smaller bits. As for sizeable examples, I'd say you have around 30 plus 100 much smaller samples, then several hundred pieces to get lost in the broom. Its a fun set but wouldnt pay more than $20 if i did it again.

Great value
There are a lot of different rocks and minerals. The box is made well so it can be viewed again and again. The book is a perfect supplement to the materials in the kit.

Keep toddlers interested. But only for the ones that don’t put things in their mouth
Love this, when both my boys went through a rock phase, I tossed them in the sand and they would hunt for them for hours!

Somewhat Disappointed
I was so excited to get this and most of it is great. I love the book and the fossils. There are a few beautiful rocks, with a good size that you can easily hold and admire. But they should not make you think that you are getting 200 actual nice pieces....over half of the rocks were TINY. Some like the size of the head of a stickpin. It was like a handful of pea gravel...but most were smaller than a pea. No wonder they give you a magnifying glass with this set. I would not buy it again.
