Best book series for toddlers!
We have really enjoyed this whole line of books. We have an only child (4 yrs) and as he is preparing for Kindergarten, wanted to make sure that he was getting the basics of how to express his emotions with other kids, since he is so used to expressing them with mostly adults around our family. So I bought a few of these, and we've enjoyed them so much that I bought the whole set.We read one of them every night along with several other story time books before bed. We can talk about the situations in the books, and relate parts of the books to situations that he is currently going through in Pre-K.Having said that, it's not that we did not know how to teach our child manners... these books were also a way for us parents to get better ideas on how to discuss these situations with our 4 year old in a way that he can relate to. If the teacher lets us know that he was not sharing very well that day, we have a small discussing about the situation and then we read the "How to Share With Others" book before we go to bed. This in turn puts our son's mind at ease, and helps him better explain his feeling earlier on in the day and gives him ideas on ways that he can handle the situation next time it happens. Quite simply, they help us communicate better as a family... and honestly, sometimes show us parents ways that we need to handle our own situations as well.Excellent series of books! I would recommend them to any parents of 2-6 year olds!

Wonderful book for kindergarteners!
I am a student in college majoring in Education and for some classes, we are required to go out in the field (i.e. classrooms) and I was placed in a Kindergarten class. I was instructed to develop a 15-20 minute social/emotional lesson and I based my entire lesson around this and it worked wonderfully; my lesson was on sharing. The book could easily be used with younger children, but was also great for my kindergarteners. The pictures are colorful, the students are very diverse, and it's a great way to show children various ways to share. The kids loved it and I did as well. There are also some great ideas in the back of the book-there are activities as well as questions you could ask your children/students on each page so you can have them engaged as you read it-AMAZING! Makes my life as teacher so much easier-I don't have to re-invent the wheel!

Nice book for littles
My 2-3 year old enjoyed this book and seemed to pay attention to the message. He talked about taking turns and offering a substitute toy. Would recommend.

Great little book.
What a cute book!! It definitely gets the point across to my three year old granddaughter. She loves the illustrations and wants me to re-read it to her. Hope it helps her with sharing better.

Great book on sharing for preschoolers!
I’m so glad to see a book that will work for my 3 year old Bible class. I have a very hard time finding things to use as application stories. Most of the time they are too wordy or way too advanced for my class. I wish I could find big books to use when teaching a class of 12. It would be nice for them to be larger when teaching a group, but I’m pleased and will use this book Sunday morning.

Child psychologist approved!
My mother is a child psychologist and she recommended this book to us as we were having some trouble with our 4 year old having an extremely hard time sharing and taking turns. (She’s an only child) Our 4 year old absolutely loves this book! It’s in the rotation every night and she’s now find joy in sharing and what to do when she’s having a hard time waiting. Parents know you’re not alone! We’re all going through it. Great book!

Good book. Would recommend
We had talked about sharing and my little girl went to extremes handing over every toy. The thing I like about this book is it doesn't say 'hand it over'. It says you can choose to share and if playing with something share later, exchange toys etc so gives good strategies.

Makes a child think
Good book. Analyses situations nicely to make the kids think more.

We bought all the books in the series and they are really great. At least theoretically my son gets the concepts described. Now we are working on the practical implementation :)
