If something isn't right, these may help.
These do really work. Very handy as they detect blood in the urine which can then be followed up by a doctor's appointment.

Is the S.G. (Specific Gravity) correct?
Seems good, but I’m confused by the S.G. (Specific Gravity) section. All other tiles are the same colour on the test strip as they are the first column on the result chart before you dip the strip into urine. However, the S.G. base colour is actually the same as the 1,020 colour on the result chart before dipping. When I did my test, all tests showed negative/normal levels (great news), but the S.G. reading is just never so slightly darker version of the 1,020 reading still. So now I’m wondering do I have a high S.G. result? Is this particular tile supposed to go as dark as the first colour (1,000) on the result chart for this test? The instructions state one high or low reading of this particular test is normal, so I will have to do another test tomorrow to see. But I’m still questioning whether the test strip in my photo (which is after being sipped in urine) is high or normal…

Accurate testing
Just thought I would let people know about this product. I tested first thing in the morning and test showed positive results on some areas of the chart. Acting upon this info booked a doctors appointment who carried out another test at his office . Results appeared exactly the same on both charts , so i would say this is an accurate product!

Blood and Specific Gravity windows seem to be in the wrong order
I don't usually review, BUT I am confused... Maybe there is a faulty batch but the strips seems to have the blood and specific gravity the wrong way around on the stick. I came to this conclusion based on doing a test on myself, one on my son and one using tap water. The blood result using the tap water is dark green, this would indicate that there is high blood concentration in my tap water. However, if compared with specific gravity then dark green indicates a normal result. The specific gravity (for tap water) gives a reading in orange, which would indicate kidney problems. However, when the results are compared to the bloods, this should give a normal reading. It just doesn't add up that the results can conclude this way. Other than this error the water gives normal results on the other sections... I have tried to upload photos but can't seem to be able to upload?

Accurate!
I was advised by a nurse friend of mine to buy urine test strips as I came home from Egypt and was feeling awful. Yesterday I ended up calling 111 because I was so poorly, drained, dizzy- but I did a test myself first. Positive for uti. As mine was done with the first wee of the day, it showed blood in my urine, protein in there and it’s very acidic. When I got to the walk in centre, their test showed protein only, but my blood pressure was concerning for them, it was very high! So 3 days of antibiotics for me. Plenty of water and rest. Brilliant to have these here. They’ll come in very handy.
