3M Double-Sided Tapes (MMM6652PK)

I needed strong double-sided tape so I could create a poster wall. This tape does the trick. I’ve taken some posters off to re-adjust and the tape didn’t take tape off the wall. In the 2.5 months that I’ve had my poster wall up, only two posters have fallen, but I was able to stick those posters back up without having to add new tape. I prefer this to the command poster strips bc it allows posters to lay completely flat on the wall! :)

We have really awesome 3 fold envelopes but the invites would just call straight out if didn’t fit them to the envelope!!So when we saw this extremely large and inexpensive pack of double sided tape we had to get it!!!!!!!!The tape came in quickly and it very nice!!!! The tape is really sticky and works perfectly! It’s not too too sticky so the point where you would not be able to fix any mistakes!At the time the tape is only $4 and you get 2 packs!!! This double sided tape works well when you work out the quirks for using it. Others are right when they say you need a dedicated heavy weigh dispenser in order to use this tape.I found it useful to still cut the tape with scissors and then to stretch the tape between both forefingers and thumbs to stretch the tape to keep it flat when laying on back side of photo paper. Otherwise the tape can easily wrinkle and cause air bubbles that are hard to flatten or work out.The tape was not so sticky that the photo could not be finely adjusted when laying into the my album page. One caution is that the tape has just enough sticking power to keep a print attached to moderately matte paper bases. I could still remove a print from this album without damaging it.Most people could figure out how to use this double-sided tape.

I have a large dispenser that takes the 3" core rolls of tape. Tape is so easy to use when on one of these dispensers. It stays put on the tape when you remove the tape you need. I thought I was getting the large rolls of tape to put on my dispenser. Instead, these have the small core and use the small standard dispenser. I should have asked a question or looked more. These are ok for double sided scotch tape. Just not the easiest to use.

It sticks to the window frames and walls well, but is hard to apply because it has no paper backing. Better, for the price, than with paper backing. I recommend you apply a piece wax paper or backing from other 2-sided tape to the tip of your other-hand index finger, and tape around the finger to hold that on, in order to apply this tape.

When my kids borrowed my Scotch double sided tape and proceeded to put it away where no one could find, I had to buy more. I tried a generic double sided tape from Walmart because it was only 99 cents. It couldn't stick to a sticker and it had the thinnest tape out of the 3 brands I will be mentioning in this review. I returned the generic tape and tried the Duck Brand double sided tape. It was definitely thicker than the generic brand and also had more sticking power, but still significantly less than the Scotch brand. When both alternatives failed to meet my standards, I grudgingly shelled out the $8 for the king of all double sided tape, THE SCOTCH BRAND. Enough said.

Para hacer scrapbook y manualidades con papel sólo uso esta cinta adhesiva, ya que es doble cara pero no tiene la capa blanca que tienen otras cintas (capa que hay que retirar de cada cachito y hace mucha basura).Pega bien, pero a la vez si algo quedo chueco se puede levantar y volver a pegar, es decir, no es permanente, al menos no instantáneamente. Lo único que hay que tener en cuenta es que como no tiene capa protectora, todo se le pega, por eso yo la tengo en un despachador y así me evito cualquier pelusa molesta.

I use this for paper crafts such as card-making. Sticks by far the best of any ds tape. Slow shipping but I wasn’t in a rush.
