These are the best as far as quality, comfort, fit/sizing! I have bought 6 other brands of base layer sets from target, REI, etc and had to return them all because of poor fit or tiny sizing.I ordered 2 sets each of this brand for my 2 boys (8 yo, size XL, and 3 yo, size XS) and will be ordering more of these to wear under clothes for winter and as PJs.The material is silky smooth on the outer side with a thin, extremely soft fleece fabric on the inner side. Very stretchy, which is perfect for my 8 year old, who is more the size of a 13 year old. My younger son LOVES the car and firetruck prints!

As soon as we tried them on my son kept saying how soft and cozy this set was. They are pretty stretchy and lightly lined with fleece on the inside. The color of the green was a little more teal than the picture showed, but we are ok with that. The waist is larger for the size, but somehow stays on my thin 6yr old when wearing the shirt with it. My son wears true to size (6) and we ordered a Small. It fits well enough but there’s plenty of room to grow.

The only problem with these is that my 4-yr-old has refused to willingly take them off for a whole week. They are incredibly soft and warm and fit perfectly. (And make a perfect panther costume base, apparently.)

These are warm and the fabric is perfect for kids who have sensory issues with the way fabric feels. My son now only will wear these to bed.

My kids love these. They're yummy and soft and warm. but the fit does not at all match the size chart that amazon has and is linked by the images. My boys usually wear a size 10. By the chart linked on the product page, that's a medium. (Which is weird because in stores that's a large). Sure enough the mediums I ordered were too small. We kept them anyway because they loved them so much. But consider sizing up.

I ordered these for my son anticipating a trip to the snow. When we opened them so he could try them on, he declared he loved them right away. The inside is super soft and comfortable. In fact, he ended up using them as pajamas for a week and I could barely get him out of them. But, when I needed to wash them I noticed that the "silky" (meaning polyester) outside was already starting to pill. When I pulled them out of the dryer, the elastic waistband was already warped. I wouldn't expect these to last through a long, rough winter. I'm going back to only purchasing 100% cotton thermals.-----------------------------------------UPDATE (March 14, 2019): After my initial 2-star review, I was contacted by the seller who said I must've gotten ahold of a bad pair and offered to send my another at no extra cost! I was so pleasantly surprised and took them up on that offer. We received the new pair very quickly, and opened them up right away. This pair DID seem a bit thicker and softer. My son immediately wanted to put them on and exclaimed how comfortable they are. He absolutely loves them. He's been wearing them for at least a week now and there's been no pilling on this pair. I finally got them off of him and washed them and they failed much better through the wash! I am completely shocked. I very much appreciate the seller being so proactive. It's always a welcome surprise these days. Thank you for that alone!

My 9 yo wore these in 37 degree weather in Tahoe and was plenty warm. These thermals are extremely soft and comfortable, fit true to size, and make a great base layer. For reference, my son is on the small, thin side, 52 inches tall, about 62 pounds, and the mediums fit great with a bit of room to grow. My son loved them so much, now that we are home, he is wearing them for pajamas.

These pjs are hit or miss. I’ve bought 6 pairs for my son now. 3 pairs held up well. The other 3 were ripped within days or weeks at most. And not from being rough either. They’re comfy and wash well. Worth it if you get a pair that holds up.

My son is gonna love this, it feels so warm and looks better than it’s worth. Definitely recommend.

We buy these every year for the kids under sports uniforms etc, this year they seem a little bit bigger than usual but absolutely love how soft and cozy they are.
