An Exceptional Read: Bridging Archaeology and Faith
I recently had the pleasure of reading through this book, and I can't recommend it enough. This book not only addresses the age-old question of whether archaeology aligns with Scripture, but it does so in a compelling and well-researched manner. Kramer's approach, using Scripture as the primary ancient text and interpretive tool, adds so much depth to the discussion. He meticulously examines the archaeological records of locations mentioned in the Bible, and his ability to present this complex information with clarity is truly commendable. The inclusion of numerous photos, maps, graphics, and illustrations further enhances the reader's understanding. What I found most captivating about this book is how it goes beyond simply proving the historical accuracy of the Bible. Kramer delves deep into the Gospel significance of these ancient sites, reminding us that these seemingly unimportant places were the very stage where the story of redemption unfolded. It's a powerful testament to the enduring impact of these locations for believers. He also speaks the truth, with as many false prophets that have started to become more prevalent, I’m thankful for his ability to keep the faith once passed down and doesn’t tickle our ears with fables fit for old women. If you're seeking answers to questions about the Bible's historical accuracy and the alignment of archaeology with Scripture, "Where God Came: The Archaeological Evidence" is a must-read. It's a book that not only provides evidence proving the Bible's authenticity but also weaves a rich narrative of God's redemptive presence in history. This is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the intersection of faith, history, and archaeology. Thank you, I do hope you’ll write more, we love the YouTube channel as well.

Modern day documentary evidence for places of Biblical history.
This is a beautiful book that has beautiful pictures and very interesting facts about the biblical areas of Israel and that part of the Middle East It makes ha great addition to your biblical library. I will never be able to visit the region but this book brings those Biblical places to you. I bought a copy for my nephew who did get to go on a trip to Israel with a group from our church and it he was very excited to have such a marvelous collection of pictures and information that more or less documented his trip and to have it in such a beautiful professional format. Joel Kramer, the author, has a very interesting and informative YouTube channel and this makes a marvelous companion book to it. I’m donating a copy of it to my church library too.

Unique and Beautiful
This book is professional, instructive, engaging, and full of beautiful photos and graphics that make the places explored in this book real and understandable. Joel’s ability to condense hundreds of years of archaeology into a paragraph or page, concisely communicating the importance of these sites is like a cool glass of water for a thirsty mind. Best of all, he spends time to go beyond the archaeology, explaining the significance of each site, which over the course of the book, amounts to a unique and beautiful explanation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I recommend to everyone who wants to see the fingerprints of God in the stones He created.

Excellent
This archeologist is very good at what he does. The book is very interesting and well-illustrated. It is worth having and studying. It sheds a lot of light on the Biblical text and shows how trustworthy the Bible is. This book adds to the fact that the Bible is so well proven that instead of asking, "Does outside evidence support the Bible?" scholars should be asking, "Does the Bible support this outside evidence?" The Bible is the authority. When archeologists follow what the Bible says when they go looking, they are looking in the right place.

An Absolute Must-Read for Bible and Archaeology Lovers!
As a self-proclaimed Bible geek and archaeology nerd, I cannot say enough good things about Joel Kramer’s Where God Came Down! This book is everything I hoped for and more — it’s like an extension of his fantastic YouTube videos, packed with rich insights, stunning photos, maps, and evidence that beautifully supports the biblical account. Kramer doesn’t just skim the surface; he dives deep into ten key biblical locations, showing how archaeology confirms Scripture, not contradicts it. If you’ve ever wondered whether the ancient record backs up God’s redemptive story, this book will blow you away. It’s perfect for teachers, students, Holy Land travelers, or anyone wanting to strengthen their faith with solid, evidence-based reasons to trust the Bible. I’m thrilled to have this resource on my shelf — it’s engaging, eye-opening, and a total joy to read. Five enthusiastic stars!

Beautiful book affirming the Bible as history
This is a beautiful book. Not only is it wonderful to read, it makes a great gift. The content affirms that the Bible is real history. The book is divided into two parts. There are five Old Testament holy places where God came down: Mamre near Hebron, Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, Bethel, Machpelah and the City of David in Jerusalem. There are five New Testament holy places where God came down: Nazareth, Bethlehem, the Garden Tomb, the Mount of Olives and the place where the Upper Room once was. The history of each of these holy places through the centuries is provided along with details of their modern archeological exploration. Then an interpretation of the significance of the holy place is given. For those who want to explore further there is a set of notes with references. The book is truly a delight.

NO OTHER BOOK LIKE THIS ONE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Very well done! I love the format and layout of this book. It reminds me of a detailed text book! The pictures show perspective of how far distance lands are from each other. It gives the reader an idea of how far travel one area is to the other. Most of all, you can tell that Joel Kramer put his heart and soul into this book, which is MORE than a book! Not sure if I can afford to ever go to visit these sites in the future, but at least this book can bring it to you. I love the history and knowing more intimately about our Lord Jesus and where he walked. Also, that our Father's Word in the Bible is authentic!

Great book by a great Author/Archaeologist/Youtuber
If you’re a Bible reading Christian and/ or interested in biblical places and artefacts that likes to gain more insight from an archaeological perspective without travelling overseas, then this book is for you. It is also worth noting to watch Joel Kramer’s well scripted and presented YouTube channel “Expedition Bible” which goes hand-in-hand with this book. Very well done Joel and your team for explaining the content in such a visual and logical manner (10/10)!!
