Great value
Awkward to put together, but brilliant and looks much more valuable than it cost.

Well made bbq
This multi fuel bbq is fantastic value for money. Very sturdy and well made. The finish on the smoke box is fine, but if you are over aggressive with wood could cause paint to discolour. The cast iron grill plates does give a better heat distribution. The controls for air flow and raising of the heat pan being on the outside on the front is a good idea. Found it fairly easy to assemble, only made one mistake. Takes a lot of practice with the smoker, but all in all a great bit of kit.

Looks pretty good now it's assembled, some tricky bits but for the money at £280 it's great
Hard to unbox on your own but if you tip the boxes on their side after removing the heavy bits you can slide them out, not all parts are labelled but most are recognisable from the drawing. Tickiest parts for me were the charcoal grill arm assembly - you have to go in through the smoker hole to get the thing together - instructions for this bit were awful - even chat GPT said so lol - put the back of the arm in the bracket at the back first then slightly lift the charcoal tray arm to line up the other bracket. Lids are not very heavy which is a shame but it looks great, now off to B & Q for gas and charcoal -

Versatile and Reliable BBQ Grill for Gatherings of Any Size
The CosmoGrill Barbecue DUO Gas Grill + Charcoal Smoker Portable BBQ in Black has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality and performance. This versatile grill has become my go-to choice for outdoor cooking, and it has proven to be more than capable of handling large gatherings with ease. First and foremost, the combination of gas grill and charcoal smoker options provides a range of cooking methods to suit different preferences and dishes. The gas grill is incredibly convenient for quick and efficient cooking, while the charcoal smoker adds a distinct smoky flavor that elevates the taste of grilled food. Having both options in one unit offers the flexibility to experiment with various cooking techniques and ensures that every dish turns out flavorful and delicious. I recently hosted a BBQ party for approximately 20 people, and the CosmoGrill Barbecue DUO proved to be more than spacious enough to handle the cooking requirements. The cooking surface is generous, allowing me to grill a large quantity of food simultaneously. The grill also distributes heat evenly, ensuring that all items are cooked to perfection. The build quality of the grill is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, providing confidence in its durability. The portable design is a bonus, making it easy to transport for camping trips, picnics, or tailgating events. While I am highly satisfied with the performance and features of this grill, I do have a suggestion for improvement. It would be beneficial if the manufacturer provided clearer instructions or diagrams for assembly and usage. While I was able to figure it out eventually, clearer instructions would make the initial setup process more user-friendly for individuals who are less experienced with grills. In conclusion, the CosmoGrill Barbecue DUO Gas Grill + Charcoal Smoker Portable BBQ in Black has become an essential part of my outdoor cooking arsenal. Its versatility, spacious cooking area, and reliable performance make it a top choice for hosting gatherings of any size. With its sturdy construction and portable design, it is a reliable companion for outdoor adventures. I would highly recommend this grill to anyone who appreciates the art of outdoor cooking and desires a versatile and reliable BBQ experience. Suggestion for Improvement: Clearer instructions or diagrams for assembly and usage would enhance the user experience for individuals who are less experienced with grills

Obsessed.
Obsessed with my BBQ. It's a quality bit of kit. I've used all the components, the burner, the coal grill, the gas grill and the smoker. Easy to use, control is good with the smoker, adjusting the height for the coals and the gas knobs. Plenty of room for a huge BBQ if you make use of the gas and charcoal grills. Amazing value for money.

Not recommended, not worth the money.
Bottom line: Not recommended Really cheap build, gets all corroded over time. The gas grill has two settings: 1. Too weak, where you can't get a decent sear on the meat 2. Flaring inferno, where is bursts into flame and everything incinerates

Takes a bit of putting together.
I have now used this bar b q 4 or 5 times in both cooking modes and I think that it is great. It takes a while to put it together initially and really needs two people. I found the instructions clear enough, and everything lined up fine. I like using the gas for quick informal cooking and I find the temperature very good; it’s not mega hot and, as usual with these things there are hotter spots than others so you do need to use it a few times to work out what’s where. You can also use this side on a really low setting to keep food that you have cooked on the charcoal side warm, or resting. The charcoal side is great and it’s easy to vary the cooking temperature with the controls available. The charcoal tray is easy to lift out and empty after use and, whilst it is a bit tricky getting to the bottom to clear any residue, I tend to use an old hand held Dyson with a long attachment now and again if needs be. I haven’t used the smoker section yet as I put the wood chips on the charcoal for smoke, but I do use it for storage which is very handy. My only niggle is with the food storage rack on the gas section; the design of this means that when you place the cooked food on it with the lid open, the rack is located over the vents in the back of the hood which means that any drips will go through the openings and onto the floor. This is easily solved by using silver foil, either wrapped under the rack or as a sort of tray over the openings, but it’s not a well thought through design. Other than that, brilliant and thoroughly recommended.
