I have to say this is an excellent piece of kit. Well designed & sturdy. I wanted something that would stop my portable monitor from toppling onto the floor & that I could lug up & down the country when working away from home. This is spot on. Enough adjustability without being over-engineered. It's very well made which means it's a little heavy but that simply reflects the quality of the item & materials used. Definitely recommended.

I’m a full time digital nomad traveling with a portable monitor to use with my laptop. This thing is absolutely genius as it lets me elevate my monitor. It’s sturdy yet packs small. The only downside is that I wish I could elevate it further, but for the size it packs down to it’s a great purchase.

Very sturdy and solid

I have a 15.6" portable asus monitor. So far so good, it supports the screen comfortably at a good angle. It is a decent weight and feels very sturdy. Edit, there is one drawback, if you lift the stand to its maximum Elevation it won't stay up, it slides back down. This isn't an issue for me as I want it at the minimum height, it is completely stable but if you want the screen higher this functionality may be a problem.

I have two of these (the first one was stolen when my car was broken into), so it must be decent to buy another. But beware it doesn't like larger (slightly) heavier displays and will constantly slide down. I get around this with a bit of gorilla tape and it happily holds my 16/18" portable displays.

Been great had a long time and its been reliable and great for when your working away with a console or just an extra monitor for work

I bought the stand to hold up a 15" portable monitor. First impression on picking up the stand was that it's was an extremely solid piece of metal and that it would not wobble or shake with a large device on it. I've put the monitor on it in portrait mode and even that has withstood any shakes/knocking the table has gone through. The only downside is that it's not very light at a weight of around 500grams, but without that it would lose the sturdiness, you can't have everything. Despite the weight, I'd still call it portable as it folds down to a pretty small flat surface.
