Yes but opening is on the smaller side.

Does this case support wireless charging ?

It's a battery case, once it's charged it will charge your phone. Wireless charging hasn't worked on the case itself.

What is the purpose of the USB port?

The one answer said the USB port was for transferring pictures when going on a computer. If that's true, why does it say this " But you need to remove the battery case if you want to sync the phone to a computer." in the product description? That USB port id for charging other phones, tablets, etc with the case.Not transffering.
