Champion The Gorilla Range Bag

The design and function is just right. But, it is really heavy having all sand and no light weight beads mixed in. The extreme weight of all that sand wears on me and eventually will wear on the bag as in pulling apart the seams and stitching. I have some beads from another bag that wore out and I'm going to dump the Gorilla bag out and mix the beads in with the sand for a lighter weight fill.Other than the other the top weight, the bag is perfect and it worked great tuning up a new AR-15 with a SightMark Photon XT digital night scope. It held the rifle nice and tight and even absorbs a good share of the recoil. Maybe that is why is so heavy to start with - absorb recoil.

I've used it once, to date, and I love it. To me it's a first-class setup. I had people all up and down the rifle range coming up to me asking where I got it. I bought this setup because a Led Sled device I have doesn't work well with a "long-eye-relief" scope I have on a Scout rifle. This does. Not dissing the Led Sled, it has its uses, but this a "GOOD" alternative.

The bag is very heavy but it also grips my rifle well and holds it steady. It certainly helps to have the built in carrying strap. I wouldn't want to be hauling this around in the woods but for the range where I can drive my car up to unload my gear its great.

Far heavier than I had anticipated but perfect for a secure rest. Crossways it is great for any gun with a extended (Horrible, high capacity, ugly) magazine. Used longitudinally I can adjust to any long gun and even nestle my wrist in for accurate pistol shooting. Not for folks with physical disabilities due to how heavy they are but as long as you have a shooting buddy to carry them ( and who hasn't got a few of them?) they are a perfect shooting accessory. If you shoot heavy calibers you definitely want a couple of these!

Absolutely Awesome and worth the money. However I never looked at the actual weight of the item nor did it dawn on me the size of the bag are filled with sand because it is heavier the hell which can handle any size weapon! High quality material and stitching. I also like that there are several ways to position the sand bags and to several different heights. I would definitely recommend!!

60 pounds of rolled bags. Takes a lot of bench room, and is hard to handle.

well made and stable

I bought this for sighting in scopes and testing the accuracy of my rifles. It is extremely useful in that regard. This item is Big and it is Heavy. Worth what I paid. Glad I bought it.
