Is it possible to switch the power-level display to desired temperature instead? e.g. instead of being power-level 5, can i switch to display 120c ?

This hob cannot display the temperature, but the manual will show each power level has a corresponding recommended use, such as 1-2 level for Keep warm, Melting chocolate, butter; 5-6 for •Braising •Simmering •Goulash

Does it take me a lot of time to boil water? The last induction stove took me a long time to boil water.

It all depends on how much water your trying to boil. I would say if you where to compare boiling a cup of water in an electric kettle it would be very comparable to boiler a cup of water on the induction hob as they are of a similar power of electric consumption, it may even be quicker.

What's the size of each zone in cm? Have a very large pot 40cm but with a base of 30cm so not sure if it will work with this.

I have a 28 cm pot and it does cook on OK but no room for any medium size pan hope this helps.

Is there a minimum space between the hot plate and any other item ?

Yes, minimum spacing above hob 760mm, below the hob 50mm, horizontally around the hob in all directions 50mm.
