Is the black extended xl spill proof, thick mousepad 6mm as stated in the product images or is it 4mm as told by the product info?

Haven't spilt anything on it. Seems thicker than previous pads. You're better off getting a drinking container with a lid...no matter what pad you get. The risk of hardware damage isn't worth it unless you're sipping on crystal.
