RF Shielding Fabric, RFID Radiation Shielding Fabric, RF Signal Blocking Material for Smart Meters

Tested with a spectrum analyzer, almost no signal leakage. However, if sewing with it, make sure to leave enough to tuck around the edges.

When I put my RF meter near my routers, they spike into the red zone of about the 150-200 mW/m² range. Between this sheet, the RF meter displayed 0.0.

I purchased 2 colors: Black and Gold. Although, the gold is more like a peachy color which I don't mind. My main reason for this purchase was to use it for blocking RFID signal on my car key fob. When I received the fabrics, I tested out by wrapping the car key fob with the fabric before cutting to size. Both fabrics really did block the RF signal. I do have a car RFID signal blocking key fob protector but at times, it doesn't seem to work. I think that there's not enough of the signal blocking fabric at the flap that closes the pouch. When I don't close the pouch tightly enough, it doesn't block the signal. So, I applied 1 more layer of this fabric inside the pouch and cut it a bit longer at the closure flap. That seemed to take care of the problem. I intend to use these fabrics for other products as well: wallet, purses, passport holder, etc. So many usages for this fabric. I do recommend them.

This RFID material was not blocking as it said it should. It does block certain fields but it failed on the credit card blocking test. The quality of the fabric is a solid knit and is flexible. I gave it 4 stars because of those things. Would have done a 5 but it doesn’t meet the standard I was hoping for. The price is good but if your looking to block every RFID signal, it doesn’t meet that.

I had a ham radio RFI problem. When I transmitted, the dish box would turn off. Laid this stuff over the top of the box, problem solved. And it doesn't kill the remote control. Wish I'd tried it first!
