Exactly what I needed
UPDATE a few months later: upgrading from 5 stars to 5+. Since I like the product, let me start with the negatives (all of which are on me and not the product): the single-sheet instructions written by someone for whom English isn't their first language was beyond useless. YouTube to the rescue. Also, this is not a beginner-level installation, nor do you need a master's in electrical engineering: it's somewhere in between. I needed to buy an OBDII reader, as well as trim tools that could remove what seemed like every internal accessory of my Jeep without scratching. With the proper tools it's rated between a 2-to-4-hour job, so of course I blocked my entire Saturday (having never done such a job before). There is wire-stripping involved; the YouTube videos will tell you electrical tape is sufficient to hold the connection. The YouTube videos lie. The Wrangler forums will tell you you need to solder the connections, which I ignored until my eventually-successfuly-entire-Saturday's-worth-of-work came undone as soon as my wife drove over railroad tracks. The good news is that what had taken two full hours removing trim and accessories on Saturday only took 30 minutes on Sunday (I was a pro, 24-hours later), and the soldered connections have worked perfectly for a few months now. The astute reader will note not one of these criticisms has anything to do with whether or not it's a good camera. Love the picture quality and fisheye view. My custom lift kit that required a custom swinging gate was accommodated by plenty of extra slack in the wires. My custom rims made it to where I couldn't position the camera dead-center like I wanted, but the mount made it easy to rotate slightly off-center and fit nicely while shooting a perfect angle. The additional tools I needed to purchase (including a JScan license to unlock my factory radio) were offset by the great price. So I came out spending a little over $200 in total (plus a day and a half of humbling learning experiences). Could've paid a dealer $500 to not fool with any of it, but I don't think the picture quality would have been as good (and certainly not the experience, which is half the point of owning a Jeep). Great product, no regrets. ------------------ Excellent product and everyone else's reviews were very helpful. The single page instruction sheet didn't have enough detail for me, but there are many YouTube videos for installation that are fantastic. Plenty of extra slack in the cables, which was useful to accommodate my swinging gate. Looks almost invisible on my Jeep and the picture quality is great. Night vision is a little grainy but no worse than most other vehicle cameras I've seen.

Less expensive than the OE.
Seems okay. Havenโt tried it at night but Iโm afraid the back up lights will have a lot to do with that. Otherwise during the day picture is good, maybe a little grainy. Instructions are about worthless. I went ahead and bought the 2 year warranty just in case.

Pretty good camera; Instructions below par
Camera works great once I worked through the poor splices and used the right video plug. Camera installation instructions are incomplete. See the attached pictures for 100% of what little instruction is provided. They tell you to look up generic instructions via youtube (this would benefit from a QR code that takes you to specific instructions for the camera itself). Sure the installation for each vehicle can be found online for different brands or even different models of eway, but they need a video that walks through using the clamps and picking the right video plug. The misspellings and missing letters were otherwise easy enough to work through. The issue is thst they provide two input plugs and splice clips that aren't on the diagram (laid on top of the instructions photo). I found the clips to not work well so I had to use other hardware. Even the photo on how to heat shrink a sleeve is out of place because there were no such sleeves included. I had to check each video input plug to see which one actually worked (not labeled). This is also when I found the splicing hardware didn't work well enough to get voltage to the camera. Once I fixed the splice to the reverse power wire, I was able to swap the video plug again and found the one that worked (for my 2016 Jeep JKU Rubicon, it was the one not pictured... It was the plug with pins in banks 2 and 3).

Took some time to install, but ultimately turned into a nice install with great visibility!
Took some time to install, but ultimately turned into a nice install with great visibility! Holes on the plate do not line up with GM 6 Lug on my 2008 Hummer H3, but I got a bit creative and itโs good! Plenty of adjustments to make it fit your setup! Made for a huge field of view!!! Night vision was OK, but did its job!

Camera failed to produce images.
This camera failed to send an image when triggered. It was a replacement for a previously installed system that had aged and began to make poor imaging. This camera never made any image at all. I tried the previous, existing wire harness. I tried the new wiring harness that came with the camera, neither could produce camera function. I work away from home, so I only get the weekends to perform such things. This took two days, a week apart to troubleshoot. We finally took the vehicle to a stereo shop and they put a new camera on my existing harness and it made an image. So we had them install a new camera. I need a refund, in spite of the fact it has been over thirty days since delivery.

Great value buy.
A very smart purchase. It displays a very nice clear picture, and even better view at night. Mounts perfect and easily adjustable.

Doesnโt last very long.
The picture quality of this camera is ok. The mounting bracket was pretty good. Was a little disappointed that it only lasted 1 year and 4 months. Kind of a pain to have to do the job again and purchase another camera. I ended up getting the 2.0 which has a better picture but the mounting bracket was pretty much useless for a HUMMER H3. Had to reuse the bracket that came with the 3.0 version. Hopefully this camera lasts longer than 1 year and 4 months.

Awesome value for the money, EXCELLENT customer service
This is a very good backup camera. This was mounted on a 2015 Jeep JKU stock spare tire rim on 33's. The instructions are lacking but if your installing yourself you can easily figure it out. It comes with 2 metal brackets for stock or aftermarket rims. The short bracket is the one you should choose for stock rims not the long one. One thing though, when you install the camera into the plastic bracket That's mounted into the metal bracket, there are 2 very small screws that go into very fragile holes. Do not over torque these or the holes will break. However customer service is top notch. Mine broke and they sent me a new part. Emma was the best. double checked with me which part it was, sent me tracking info..... I highly recommend this camera. I really wish I had installed this earlier. I gave the night vision only 3 stars because unless you have a light source the image was dark because we all know how bad jeep JK reverse lights are. In the parking lot that is well lit, the image was very good

NOT HD
It might be my problem since it clearly says the video quality is 480p, but didn't notice that while purchasing, because who in 2023 is selling a camera that isn't full HD!!!!

Good but some improvements would make it better
This is a good product and it did dit my 2008 Jeep. I gave it 3 stars as the arm extension should be a little longer and it would be better with a T type screw head and not a phillips head.

Very good camera for the cost
I installed in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with a 430n factory radio. The jeep was already flashed for a backup camera. The instructions were good and the install took about 90 minutes. The camera works excellent and would highly recommend at this point.

EWAY 3.0 Backup Camera for 2018 Jeep Wrangler
I was really pleased with the easy installation. Took about two hours to install on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JK. All the connections tied into my Uconnect 430N Radio. I had to take it to the dealership to have the camera programmed. Took about 10 minutes to do and the camera worked perfectly. I would recommend.

Good value
Received promptly. Would have been nice to have more detailed installation instructions but YouTube was a great help. Hence only 4 stars. After viewing, installation was very easy. Most difficult part was re-programming my Uconnect radio to allow for auto display once in reverse. Disappointed in the low resolution quality, mind you, it does say 480, so wishful thinking on my part? I would still recommend it.
