A small tacklebox necessity
I bought this item to put in my tacklebox. Though compact and small, I found it to be quite useful for the purposes I got it. For one thing I don't want to carry a lot of stuff because I usually hike in to my spots. I carry only the necessities in a small plastic case. This multi tool is just right for this. It can unjam fishing line, it can cut line, it can hold a hook for sharpening or for tying a fly, and it can help loosen the hook from the fishes mouth. The Phillips screwdriver is just the right size for quick adjustments to my reels. The knife (with a little honing) is very sharp and holds it's edge. I don't use the other tools much, but I don't see why they could not be used. Yes, this multi tool is very small, but that is precisely it's value to me. I wouldn't buy a sledge to put a nail in the wall, so why buy a big Leatherman when you have small size jobs?

A Good Quality "For the Money" Item
For the low price, in my opinion, this tool is a good buy. The steel blade holds an edge, and it's well machined. It's been used almost every day for two months, and it's holding up well. I did not award "5 Stars" because the one I received DID NOT HAVE 8 BLADES as pictured, it has 6. We kept it anyway =:^)

Wincester Small Wood Handle Tool
I am very pleased with the product The tool is nicely finished and includes the typical tools that should be handy to have access to from time to time without having to carry a bulky load around. The carrying case for a belt gives handy access to the tool when needed. The nail file that is included has two different roughnesses -- one per side. This is more flexibility than some I have seen. The knife blade may be too short for some, but I find the 1-1/2 inch length quite adequate for my purposes. Not all Phillip's head screw drivers seem to work well; this one does.

Tiny and hard to open
I got this today and was surprised how small it was. Closed, it is only 2.5 inches long, by 1.25 inches wide. Also, it is really difficult to open the tools in the handle. I feel like my nail is going to rip off trying to pull them out. Hopefully this will get better over time. The wood is nice, but I wish I spent more money on a higher quality product.

VERY SMALL but looks solid and size/weight preferable for some applications
I have a very large Winchester knife I love and saw this while looking for multitool so thought they would go together well, turned out this thing is very small. i knew it would be a good bit smaller but really i think the blade on this thing is just over an inch. thing is I'm a backpacker and that's what its for weight is always a huge concern so every though i wanted something bigger well... this isn't the knife i wanted but it's probably the knife i need. haven't used it much it works fine thus far. if your wanting something small and light i would recommend just remember this is SMALL. perfect for ultralight backpacking though sure i'll love it in the end.

NOT accurate, looks a lot cheaper than shown in the photo.
The wood in the PICTURE is beautiful. Based on that $8 would be a bargain. But the picture isn't what I got. The wood is just flat, not contoured. It's not stained and sealed that beautiful red. It is a dark brown, dull plain wood finish. The metal doesn't "blend" into the wood like in the picture. The wood covers the whole sides. It's clearly just a little stamped piece of thin wood. Just cosmetic I guess... which probably means the whole thing is either thicker than it needs to be, or is weaker than it could be if it were all metal. The functional tool part does seam to be more true to the provided photo, but I didn't open the package, so I can't review the quality. It's going right back. I'd save yourself the trouble until they update the pic. I'll see if I can upload a pic. I bet it's useful if you want a cheap little tool to have on you and you aren't concerned about it looking cheap. 1 star for false advertising. Could be that the tool functions though, in which case it could be an alright deal 4 stars for utility on the cheap.

Super handy tool
You just gotta' have one of these if you do any type work that can utilize the tools that come with this item. Not much in here someone wouldn't need, but, as a "spare" tool kit along with being a knife, it's just terrific. I have 4 of these in various places where I just may need to use this "boy scout tool" and have been happy about that decision on several occasions.

Small, Classy, Useful - Recommended
The "Winchester 22-01347" is a very small, but very useful multi-tool. It's small size hides a wide selection of surprisingly practical and well made tools. The wood accents add a small measure of class, so pulling it out in an office doesn't cause a lot of alarm (unlike whipping out a huge Leatherman might :-) This goes on sale fairly often and can be gotten for well under the list price. It is a good bargain for a well made tool. Recommended!

The multitool you get is not the one advertised in the picture or the description. The multitool you get is really really small. It doesn't have any metal like the picture shown. Instead it's covered by wood. The quality is outstanding. I do enjoy my multitool. Just be aware that you will get a smaller multitool than the one in the picture. I have beaten up the multitool though and it's holding on extremely well.
