While these are not recommended to be a permanent installed outlet, they work fine in temporary situations. I am using this for some exterior holiday LED lights. It lets me power it from a curbside light fixture, and not have to run a huge extension cord back to the house.

So this will likely get bounced out of the reviews but I did want to let someone know. These little adapters are great for turning a light bulb outlet into an outlet you can plug a power cord into. Like for instance to be able to plug in some decoration Christmas lighting or something of this kind. I bought these for likely the same reason but I had to get them for next year because there weren't any available before Christmas this year. Mine came now that its over, and what did I get but a set that some slob used for the holidays then returned them. How do I know? Well besides the package being torn while opening, there are little bits of leaves in the package that fell out of the little socket slits. Good grief they were only $2.50 each, they weren't so expensive that someone should have needed to just rent them.

Use for low power draw Christmas lights. Remove lightbulbs and screw these in. Works great and I can use light switch to control.

To get this effect I used two Sylvania LED Blue light bulbs in the downstairs hallway and one Sylvania LED Blue light bulb upstairs in a Catalina Spotlight. In the upstair windows I used Dazzle Bright Blue Mini String Lights with a electric candle with DORESshop C7 LED Blue Mini Candelabra bulbs (all installed from the inside). On the outside I used Dazzle Bright Blue Christmas Mini String Lights and on the porch I used Weepong Meteor Shower Lights. The outdoor lights were all pluged into existing outdoor porch light fixture with GE Power Gear Polarized Handy Plug 2-Prong Convert Light Bulb to Outlet Socket Adapter so I just have to flip a light switch from indoors to turn on the Christmas lights. Nice to have around the house. I just need one but always nice to have spare.

These are perfect for my needs and the price is even better! I have a lamp with three bulb slots, but I only want to use one smart bulb. I could cover the slots with electrical tape, but this is a much safer option. I covered the prong slots with electrical tape. The lamp was on a timer, but the smart bulbs are so much easier. I am in the process of replacing all lamp bulbs with smart ones!

Me facilito la vida para convertir un zoquette de luz en un tomacorriente, no tiene por obvias razones contacto a tierra pero permite convertir donde ubicas los focos de luz en un tomacorriente solo enroscando este pequeño enchufe.

Llegaron antes de la fecha prometida. ¿Qué puedo decir de un ingenio que conozco hace más de 50 años? La única diferencia es que el enchufe es polarizado. Es una ventaja poder contar con un enchufe eléctrico donde no lo hay pero hay que tomar en cuenta que los portalámparas tienen una capacidad eléctrica muy limitada. Se recomienda usar este convertidor sólo con aparatos de bajo consumo.
