Awesome product.
Found the leaky spot on my roof and this filled the crack and covered it wonderfully. It has been on the crack now through a few thunderstorms and no leaks. It spreads very easily and comes out like tar. If you touch it then plan on using gas or something similar to get off of your hands. This is normal for this type of product.

Worked great for shingle blown off...
During a recent windstorm, a shingle broke off of my gardening shed. The shed came with inexpensive 3-tab shingles for the roof, but nevertheless lasted for many years now (~30+/-). Fortunately the shingle broke cleanly where the tab meets the upperpart of the shingle and landed on the ground in one piece not far from the shed. I purchased this product to reattach (glue) the shingle back on the roof and also bought some shingle nails in case they were needed for the repair. The temperature outside was in the 40'sF and well withing the working temperature of the product. After snipping the dispensing tube, breaking the inner seal, and putting into a caulking gun, I found the product to be very flexible, easy to apply to the shingle, and very adhesive when I placed the shingle back onto the roof. The product allowed me to smooth out the stripes of adhesive I applied to the back of the shingle and could slide the shingle back into position such that it looks like it was never broken off. It adhered so well that I did not need to use any of the roofing nails I purchased. Time will tell if the adhesive keeps the single in place when the next wind storm occurs.

This stuff is excellent for filling cracks in your asphalt roof from heat exposure
Easy to apply just get yourself a fast food plastic spoon and smooth it out once you put it on it also has very good elasticity effects and half of the contraction expansion problems that come with other tars

Messy, messy, messy...
Bought this to secure shingles at the drip edge. Product seems fine, packaging needs work. Cut the nozzle, pierce the seal, dispense... except a BUNCH of it pushed out the back end of the caulk gun instead of through the nozzle. Wasteful, and this stuff is hard to clean up by design. Seriously, caulk tubes aren't rocket science, this isn't the right place for the manufacturer to save a couple of pennies.

Great stuff to stop any leaks
I use this stuff for the small over-lap on metal roofing on my shed and on my Paul cave metal roof to make sure there are no leaks from rain. Works great and makes a water tight seal...perfect for my needs. Fast shipper and if I need more, I will order from this shipper.
