Where is the rubber gasket supposed to go? If it's up against the tsuba, the sword can't fully sheath. But if the gasket isnt on it, the tsuba falls.

You are absolutely correct! The gasket (dome) prevents the sword from being shielded completely. I took the dome off and glued the tsuba on the sword. If someone has a better idea, please let me know.

Extremely durable, could be used for practice solid all the way through.

How do you keep the blade in the scaboard with the rubber ring??? it prevents it from going in all the way.

Sadly there is no way. Either you take the rubber piece off and you can put it on all the way or you can leave it on and not be able to put it in.

The sword is NOT a katana size sword. It's the smaller of the two worn by samurai.
