...so much so, I bought a second. I had a different make double hob, but a spice jar fell out of the cupboard & broke the glass on one half, so, decided to go for singles. The Ciarra is not as noisy as I thought they'd be from some reviews. Heats really quickly, veg are boiling in an instant it seems. I also like the fact you have settings or temp to pick from. No complaints at all & for the price, £39.99, brilliant. And that's with them taking the price down £2 after I bought the second 5 days ago! So an excellent price at the moment.

The media could not be loaded.  this is a 2000w induction hob, food surface size for heating, body not too thick, easy for storage, i ordered it for hotpot useit’s easy to operate, 8 preset power level and 8 custom temperature level with the touch slider, it also got a 180 minutes timerno complain to its function! it heat food and water pretty fast at max powerhowever, the fan is too noisy! i start feeling dizzy after staying next to it for couple of minutes, the noise is just too loud; i struggled to use this hob for hotpot as i need to stay next to the hob for whole mealit detects the pot type and show error in display and beeping when pot type is not supported, however the hob will not automatically turn off and keep trying, keep beeping even the pot is removed, i needed to switch it off manuallyanyway, it’s still good value to stay as a spare hobhope you find these information helpful

We are using this as a temporary hob while our kitchen is being fitted (which will be taking a few weeks). It does a great job. The touch slider for the control is nice. In reality, I've only used it on almost full and P2 (very low) for simmering. Simmering on P2 is a series of bursts of heat rather than a constant low heat which is why I marked down the temperature control star rating. You can hear the fan noise but it is very acceptable. It would be totally unfair to be comparing features with a fitted hob at 10 or 20 times the price. For the price, this is a great little hob and I would totally recommend it for the sort of use for which we are using it.I can imagine using this in other ways in the future. Perhaps even for at-table cooking (next to your teppanyaki hot plate!), on the dining table inside or outside with an extension lead.

I bought this to replace a double hob that I managed to destroy by not watching a boiling pot (the water pooled on the top and dripped into the electronics in the back of it - boom!) It is a perfect size, has solid temp control and the added bonus of a timer for those of us who are easily distracted. If you need a small footprint or portable method of heating or cooking food - this is perfect. Just make sure you have induction suitable kitchenware.

heats up the pans very quickly not keen on the - +buttons you press the minus it go's to number 1 setting you press plus button it go's to setting 8 the finger slide works fine from setting 2 to 7 it as taken a little time to get use to it ,but works well

I thought this one was so bad that it was faulty but I was wrong.....Firstly it's very noisy, as though a loud fan is on inside. Not good for use in a campervan!Secondly it doesn't seem to deliver heat control by reducing the power output (stated as 2000W down to 400W). Instead it seems to only use 2000W, just turning off heating for increasing time periods as lower power outputs are selected. This means it won't simmer, it 'interval' boils. So it's too easy to burn food onto the bottom of the pan.I've never used an induction hob that works in this way and I will be returning this one.

The ceramic hob needs heavy pans on it. Most of my current saucepans and frying pans were not suitable. Don't buy if you can't lift heavy pots.It is easy to use in a small space. Clear instructions.

Exactly what I was after. Great device if you want a portable induction hob. Does what you'd expect and I really like the control you get over the heat compared with a ceramic hob.

Très bonne plaque, puissante. Ravie de cet achat en attendant l'installation de ma cuisine et de ma grande plaque. D'autant que cette petite plaque pourra me servir l'été, à côté du barbecue, pour faire cuire quelques légumes par exemple.Elle est un peu bruyante par contre, mais je ne trouve pas cela gênant, c'est normal pour une plaque non encastrée.

El producto es muy, pero que muy potente. Para un uso diario recomiendo usar el P2 o P3, máximo P3 para filetes. No lo subo más que eso. Al principio, no entendía cómo funcionaba y la atención al cliente fue muy buena y amable. Producto muy recomendado. Lo uso a diario, porque la placa vitro de mi vivienda (alquiler) da problemas y el dueño no la quiere arreglar. Así que me compré esta plaquita portatil y ha sido la solución perfecta. La tengo en la cocina, se limpia fácil. Cuando no la uso la desenchufo. Lo recomiendo, buena empresa, buen producto. Gracias :)

Perfetti i tempi ed i modi di consegna da parte di Amazon.Il piano cottura ad induzione è ottimo, sono contentissimo dell'acquisto.Lo uso alla potenza più bassa, la P1, è molto facile da impostare ed è immediata da pulire.Avendo i pannelli solari a casa praticamente cucino gratis. L'ingombro della piastra è davvero molto contenuto e la metto proprio accanto ai fuochi tradizionali (spenti).Ne consiglio l'acquisto sopratutto per il fatto di poter cucinare a bassa temperatura con un consumo di energia davvero minimo.
