Rear View Mirror Back Plate Panel + Interior Mirror Bracket Arm for Car DVR Instead of Strap

So fitment was pretty good and everything lined up with the Akeeyo mirror. I had to get crafty and wedge some rubber shims with some 3m film between the mirror and the back plate panel. There was a decent gap between the plate and mirror which caused it to shake a lot. The craftiness worked and now mirror is on there solid. I have this setup on a 2017 F-150 so if you plan on putting one of these dash cam mirrors let me save you some time and tell you to get this plate because the stock basic mirror is weak and will not hold any weight. This plate is exactly what I needed!!

This was a perfect fit for the Jomise K17 Rear View Mirror Cam that I installed in my Ford Maverick. The existing screws from the Jomise were the correct size so there was no need to source the four screws that hold the mirror to the mount. Overall I'm quite pleased with the quality and fit.

Mount seems well made. Out of the box, the mount does not fit directly onto a Vantop H612T mirror. The mounting holes are a few millimeters too wide to fit the screw holes under the strap hooks. To get it to fit, I had to remove the four standoffs at the corners so that the mounting plate sits flush with the mirror. I then drilled four holes in line with the holes on the mirror using a 5/64" drill bit and thinned out the surface a bit to use the original screws (see photo for reference). Also notched out the area at the reset pin hole for the mirror. I was also able to attach the mirror to the OEM mirror ball mount. It does give the installation a much cleaner look, but I would not recommend getting this mount unless you are comfortable modifying it (I used a precision screwdriver, a drill with 5/64 bit, and a Dremel tool with sanding drum and cutoff wheel).

The screws aren't included because they exist under the mirror's silicone rubber pads that this bracket replaces. The fit even snaps into place and I was able to shake the bracket without the screws in place and the mirror was not coming off. This is a lot cleaner then strapping to an existing mirror and I'm super pleased.

The quality is good. However after looking around I was on the page where they have a similar panel for 10” mirror dash cam. On the questions answered it refers customers to this page for Vantop H612T dash cameras. After buying this and trying to install it I was able to put 2screws on but the other side of the panel has the screw holes too far away from this specific dash cam screw holes. I don’t want to deal with returning it but I left one side with two screws and the other side with the strap that comes with dash cam. It looks good but would look great with out strap at all. It also took about 3weeks to arrive.

It did not fit my pellsee without modification I was able to make it work by moving mounting holes

Fits a Wolfbox g840h perfectly. Ball joints are nice and stiff so it doesn't move around easily. Very easy to put together and almost looks like it came that way from the factory. It's a much nicer look than using the rubber bands that come with the dash cam and strapping it to your existing mirror. Shipping does take a few weeks but not that big of a dealbreaker.

All you gotta do is give them the year, make and model of your car, and the brand of mirror you got. It can't be any easier! It fits and looks great! A++ 👍😎
