Yealink BT40 Bluetooth USB Dongle

This is easy to setup and makes talking great with a variety of bluetooth headphones. I am using a Yealink T46S phone. However, at first I couldn't make outgoing calls using the bluetooth dongel. Seems like the phone wasn't routing sound through the headset / bluetooth. But simple fix was to update the firmware to 66.83.0.50. Works perfectly now. Nice clear signal and sound. Quite happy.

Works great - just wish YeaLink would allow for both the Bluetooth and WiFi dongles to work off the single USB port or to add a second port to use both.

Dongle is a fun word to say. This product has worked very well for our organization. We own a Bluetooth conference speaker and are able to pair it with this speaker due to the dongle. Very easy to order and it shipped rather quickly.

This adds great functionality to the nicer Yealink phones. Paired with a Plantronics Voyager, you get excellent call quality and ease of use. BUT, if you'd like to save $22, you can also order just about ANY usb Bluetooth adapter that uses the same (CSR8510) chipset. I needed this dongle for my Yealink Deskphone. I also needed a hub to plug into the phone because it only comes with one USB port. I have a set of LG wireless headphones and they work very well with this set up.

We recently went over to a VOIP based telephone service and our admin was keen to use a Bluetooth headset with the system. The Yealink SIP-T53 desk phone needed this adaptor to allow Bluetooth connectivity. Literally, this is as plug and play as you can get! Plug it into the USB slot on the back of the phone, enter the menu - settings - basic settings - Bluetooth and set to on. The Bluetooth headset was automatically detected and paired with (had to be in pairing mode, obviously), and then we're away. Allows for excellent sound quality with a decent Bluetooth headset and gives us an impressive range of approx. 7m through the office and workshop which we think is no bad feature.

si ca marche, ya rien a dire. par contre, sur les 5 commandés, l'un d'eux c'est mis a buger au bout de 2 semaines; il a fini dans la poubelle.

Die Installation ist sehr einfach. Adapter hinten in das Telefon einstecken (bei mir ist es ein Yealink T48S Sipphone Telefon. In den Einstellungen einmal BlueTooth aktivieren und das Gerät funktioniert. Am Gerät selbst muss dann bei Entgegennahme des Telefonats der Headsetknopf gedrückt werden.
