Review: A Hit! - Immediately, I began singing this book to my autistic grandchild and she was entranced. Normally, she doesn't look at book pictures unless they are photographs, but she sat for most of this book. Since then, I've sung the song to her in church, in the car, and on the phone when she was at home, and it calmed her down when in meltdown mode. Hey! I have this book almost memorized and can break out into song at any time, ha. I ordered an extra copy, so she has one at home and one at my house. It's a very attractive book and clever phrasing for the 12 days of Thanksgiving. I love those aunts arriving! Review: Lots of family fun - This past Thanksgiving I assigned a "day" to each family member. As I read the book, they had to sing their day. We had a lot of laughs getting through the song. Would recommend this book, especially if you can read it at a family gathering.
