This is such a fantastic kit and comes with everything you need except batteries and a laptop for the coding elements. Cannot recommend this kit highly enough.

Do you need to know a particular coding language such as python for the coding elements of the kit?

This kit is based on the C language. It is best to learn some basics of C language, if not, you can follow the tutorial to complete the projects inside.
