Great case, but the headphone port requires an extension, which is weird
Great case if you're looking for battery extension and good looks, but not necessarily concerned about shock or water protection.Looks: I got the matte black case and use the matte black bumper. I'm several weeks in and have one tiny scratch that probably came from keeping my keys in the same pocket, which I usually do. None of the color is flaking or scratching off at all. It does make the phone a good bit taller and thicker, but I knew that going into it. It still fits in my shirt and pants pockets just fine and I kind of prefer a heavier phone.Access: The access to the silencer is great. The buttons that replace the volume and power button feel great, are very sturdy and seem like they will stay that way for a long time. The speakers are slightly amplified by playing into the case and then coming out through the front grills. I personally like that. The audio plays forward instead of into the bottom of the phone and you don't have to put it next to a wall to get decent sound out of it. My favorite part of this case though is the micro-USB replacing the Lightning connector. I've had iPhones using Lightning for a little over 2 years and have gone through probably a dozen cables because they are all so terrible, no matter the manufacturer. At least you can order a set of 5 micro-USB cables for $13, so if they stop working, its okay. I had a minor issue after about a week where the case wouldn't charge all the way and assumed it was the case, but discovered that it was because I was using a USB extension cable and the cable it came with was just enough to drop the voltage below the necessary charging cable. I swapped it for a different one and it charges fully every time now. The rear camera, front camera, and flashes aren't obscured at all. The case tapers away from them to avoid this. The one complaint that lost a star on this case is the access to the headphone port. The hole to access it is EXTREMELY narrow, so they include an extension cable, but who carries an extension cable with them everywhere? Its probably about .01 mm too thin to fit the original Apple headphones which I assume is so you don't shove it in there and then try to pull it out by the wire, thus destroying the headphone cable. However, an extension cable that is very specific to this case and has to be with you at all times is not the solution. When I bought it, I assumed I would just drill it out to make the hole bigger, but unless you've got one to spare, I wouldn't try it. It looks like some wiring or part of the battery could extend into the immediate proximity.Battery: Great! 150% of the original battery is about right. You hold the button on the case down for 2 seconds, the lights on the back show you your charge status (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and it starts charging. Takes about 40 minutes to fully charge the phone and still has enough reserve for about another 50% recharge. The case itself charges pretty quickly with a high current charger, but I haven't timed it exactly. When it charges all the way up, it sometimes shows the error message about accessory may not function properly or whatever, but its no big deal, doesn't affect the charging or the phone in any way.Protection: If you drop it onto a hard surface from anything over about 2 feet, the bumper ring pops off, the phone pops out of the case, and you have 3 pieces. It all snaps back together like new and doesn't look like it would be a common occurrence to break the connector for the case, but maybe with enough force it could. I would just say don't drop it.Other: The case comes with a screen protector, which is nice. The headphone extension cord is white and about 3 inches long end to end. If you can order a replacement or two, I would. You'll find yourself without it but needing it one day.

Sharp and compact iPhone Battery case
I had looked at these for a while, and as the (now) 5th replacement battery in my iPhone 6 began to crap out, I decided rather then replace the battery, just get a battery case. The case costs about 1/2 the price of a battery replacement (unless you take on that task yourself).I ordered the case on a Sunday, it arrived by the next Thursday. The set up is not wholly intuitive, but once I was able to focus on the TINY instructions, I was able to figure out how to open the case to insert the phone. Note to vendor: I am nearing 60 with TERRIBLY eyesight. Bigger FONT would be nice...I loved that the case came with an optional clear bumper - I opted for the Rose Gold iPhone, and I can still see the color through the bumper. The unit also comes with a mini-USB charging cord (replaced the Lightning cord to my iPhone charging puck with it), and a headset adapter (THANK YOU!!! I live on my headset; cannot STAND the bluetooth earbuds). It all works well!Took about 3 hours to fully charge everything; the phone is doing it's normal drop charge 15% an hour on standby / 22% an hour if I, like use the phone. The only detraction I found were instructions about the power button in the back of the case. I had to dig to find out that I use that to turn on the battery when the phone needs charging. I had though the battery case / phone were a little more tethered than that. All in all, it is a sharp case that feels like I am holding something, but not so intrusive I can't put it in my pocket while out and about. I hope it lets me get more life out of this phone.ADDENDUM:I have been using the battery / case for several weeks now. It's okay. The phone discharges after 5-8 hours depending on usage. With a push of a button on the back of the case, the phones battery gets recharged to within 98% of full before the charging mode shuts off. ONCE in a while, it will hit 100% on a battery case recharge. I have been able to get just over 2 days out of a full phone / case charge. I like that I am not tethered to the charging cord for most of the day. I can use the case to recharge the phone 2...ish times before the case is depleted. The case has extended the battery life of the phone from about 6 hours to around 20. Bought a second case for my husbands iPhone (eliminating his excuse that "Oh, my phone died." when trying to reach him).WINTER UPDATEOne issue both me and my husband are having with these cases are - it's Winter and near 0% humidity. We are frequently dropping the cases because they just slide right out of our hands. The phones hit the floor, the cases split open, etc. Would be nice if the cases had, perhaps, some rubber incorporated into the design to help with gripping - just a thought. I am going to just wrap an elastic band around it for now.LOWERING MY REVIEWThe battery is just not holding up. When I first got the battery/case, I was able to get almost 3 phone charges off it. Now not quite 3/4 of a recharge, and it still takes almost 4 hours to charge both the phone and the case.

Had this for my 6 and worked well. Thought the top frame was a bit fiddly and delicate, when clicked on it was fine. Just be careful about theearphone jack of the earphones you use. It will take the standard iphone straight jack, but It wont take any ‘L’ shapes jacks or those jacks with a large diameter. You need a very slim adaptor which will make all jacks fit. However i did order some spares but found that even these were too FAT to fit, so make sure you know any adaptors will fit before you order ! Have 5 spares bought without checking and now in my drawer !!

Excellent and lovely case
I have the iPhone 6 Plus and very impressed by this sturdy case in lovely gold tone. It works very well, easy to use and for charging your iPhone can stay still in the case due to the added charging cable does both charging the battery of the case and the iPhone. I am a women and can handle my iPhone 6 Plus comfortably with the case. Full recommended. For my Hubby I ordered the same case for iPhone 6 and he is happy as I am. So done very well. A must have for everyone who wants to feel more independent from any power socket. Thanks to Alpatronix. Thumbs up. Great value for money.

Good at first but battery dies quickly the more you use it
Have had this for quite a few months now and have used it a lot. It worked really well in the beginning and would charge my phone up and then some in case of an emergency, however, now it will just about charge my phone up but that's it. Pretty durable, but the battery didn't last very long at all and am not sure how much longer the battery will last to fully charge my phone. Great design though and pretty lightweight.

A necessity for any iPhone 6 user
I love iPhones but the battery life has always been very poor. I had high hopes that the 6 would be better but it isn't. This battery case has transformed the usability of the 6 for me. Yes it adds some weight but that is more than compensated by the extra convenience of being able to recharge without need in to plug it into the wall or a computer. I now have a an iPhone which last 2 days without breaking a sweat.
