โค๏ธ A Great Item- I love it
A great item. Works well. I love the stainless. It cooks the rice well and easy clean up. The item is pretty and looks good with my other red kitchen items. I will purchase another one as a gift.

Best Small Rice Cooker
I love this thing. Makes my rice perfectly and itโs so much easier to clean than my last fancy electric one. I got this stainless version because my old non stick was flaking.

Much easier than standing around the stove. Can't mess this up.
As expected. The item is simple and gets the job done. The stainless steel bowl is nice, no plastics in your food and you can remove it from the cooker and eat out of it. Most complaints I read on here about these types of cookers, I found, come from fools who did not bother reading the instructions before use and/or have never cooked rice before. You CANNOT mess this up. It's a hot plate that comes with a bowl and lid. That's it. (Well, and other accessories, but you get the idea.) I cannot fathom any issues coming from anything other than human error when the appliance is so simple. 1) If your rice boils over and spills water while cooking it's because you didn't rinse it properly to remove the starches. That's basic rice cooking 101, and is included in the instructions. Spillage (when the stainless steel bowl is anti-spill due to the way its shaped) is nobody's fault but yours, for either overloading the cooker or not rinsing your rice well enough. 2) It comes with a plastic measurement cup. This measuring cup, when full, equals 1 industrial rice cup, which comes out to 3/4 of a US cup. This is explicitly stated in the instructions. Overload the cooker with regular US cups and you will have a bad time. I don't feel like looking at the listing again, but a valid complaint about the rice cup COULD be that the including the cooker's capacity in the listing without clarifying what kind of measurement system they're using to make that claim COULD be considered to be deceptive by some. I had a fine experience with it. It's easier than turning on the stove and waiting around to turn the temperature up and down and make sure nothing spills. I leave this thing alone for 30 min and come back to cooked rice. I add frozen veggies with no issue at all. Since it's just a hot plate and a stainless steel bowl you could heat/cook soup in it too. It's light, so I could see it being good for the elderly. TIPS: 1) Use it near in open window, or turn the fan on the first time you use it. This is not a complaint, since this happens to nearly every new appliance that heats up, but there is a bit of a chemical smell during first use. It's no problem since no plastic components directly touch the food, it's just the outer casing/body heating up for the first time. Giving it a good wipedown with a damp (not wet) rag before first use, as the instructions suggest, might help. 2) Remove the bowl before cleaning or applying downward pressure to it unless you want to damage the inner hot plate. Make sure the bowl is completely dry and clean on the underside before putting it in place and turning on the appliance, for the same reason. 3) The bowl can easily be cleaned by either eating your rice while it's still hot and rubbing/rinsing the leftover starches and rice at the bottom before it all has a chance to dry, or letting the bowl soak overnight and getting at it in the morning. I personally scoop all my cooked rice into a bowl the moment it's finished cooking, (careful, hot!) extract the bowl from the appliance, and rub the inside down with a soapy, wet, balled up paper towel to loosen everything up before the leftovers have a chance to dry and stick. Easy. 4) Cooking rice produces steam. Duh. Turn the lid so that the vent hole is facing the window or your stove hood fan so that your cabinets don't get humid. 5) Don't plug it in until you're ready to start cooking your rice because the appliance automatically starts warming when it's on. It'll change cook times, which may be catastrophic for the inexperienced. Unless your intent is to preheat. All in all: ๐ Yeah. It's useful. Would be better if they clarified what measurement system they were using when they made the listing. It's a small and simple rice cooker with a plastic outer body that warrants no more than a $25 price tag an an updated listing that is not misleading about their product's capacity.

Almost perfect!
The product came with a dent in the pot. It looks like it was made from the inside out, and I canโt imagine an explanation as to how that would have occurred. The package came as the original product box with a shipping label attached. The productโs box seemed well-protected. The glass lid is in fine shape. Iโm happy with the rice cooker. It is smaller than I expected, but itโs totally a perfect size for me (and up to 1 or 2 more people!!) and I love how it doesnโt take up so much room. The rice server fits in the handle slot nicely, so I donโt need to set it down on the table. The rice serving paddle is not very heat resistant. The literature says not to use it when making soups. That surprised meโฆ The cord seems very short to me, but itโs workable. I donโt have a countertop to sit it on, so I used a power strip to reach to the top of a stack of boxes. At 300W, it doesnโt need very much power to work and cook. Iโm interested in buying a steamer basket attachment. That looks awesome for steaming veggies! I think itโs a great machine and worth the money, especially since thereโs all stainless steel!!! I love that there isnโt any plastic in contact with the cooking food. The fact that itโs stainless steel is the ONLY reason I bought this. I didnโt buy from anyone else because I wanted stainless steel. I hate Teflon and other unnatural garbage leeching into my food. The rice I cooked is perfect, and I think it is pretty healthy! Great job, Aroma! I love that Stainless Steel!

Better than non-stick, but read my full review and decide for yourself.
Great rice cooker for the price! No special settings, just great at doing what it is supposed to do... Cook rice! It isn't non-stick, but I am glad not to have the extra chemicals get leached into my rice. Since it is stainless steel, it does much better in the dishwasher as well. Yes, the rice will stick, but once you take the rice out, fill to the top line with water and turn on the cooker again. Once the water is really hot, let it sit. The stuck-on stuff will be easier to clean. I have my old non-stick rice cooker in my donate pile. With the non-stick, I would have to hand-wash it. When I put that through the dishwasher, since it was aluminum under the non-stick surface, the aluminum would form a black coating in the dishwasher. I would have to either use SOS to scrub it off, or an abrasive scrub product like the Pink Stuff or something like that. With the stainless steel, the black (carbon ?) coating is no longer an issue.

Rice Cooker Said โGood Luckโ and Clocked Out Early
I really wanted to like this little rice cooker. Itโs cute, itโs compact, and it fits a small family situation perfectly. But the performance? Yeah.. we got issues. First off, this thing does NOT know when the rice is done. It just sits there like itโs on break, vibing, while your rice is fighting for its life. It never shut off when it was supposed to, so if youโre not babysitting it like a toddler with scissors, congratulations youโre making burnt rice. Second, the sticking situation? Aggressive. The rice clung to the bottom like it was paying rent down there. Scraping it out felt like an archaeological dig. Third, somehow the rice was both almost done AND not done at the same time. How?? Crunchy in spots, soft in others. Pick a struggle. Also, do yourself a favor and ignore the water measurements. Add more water unless you enjoy playing โIs this rice or gravel?โ The positives: โ๏ธ Small size great for a family of 3 โ๏ธ Nice color (we love a cute appliance) Thatโs it. Thatโs the list. Final verdict: Looks good on the counter but you better keep one eye on it like it owes you money. ๐๐ฅ

Great quality and easy to use - but does not perform as promised
First of all, this is a wonderfully made rice cooker. Absolutely love the stainless steel inner pot. High quality construction and simple design. It is VERY small. Loved the pot of white rice. It cooked perfectly. When I made oatmeal exactly according to instructions (which you have to download) it boiled over and made a huge mess on my countertop. The other issue with it is advertised as being able to cook 3 cups uncooked rice - but that is only for white rice and after my experience with oatmeal I wouldn't trust it for 3 cups uncooked. If you want to make brown rice the limit is only 1 cup uncooked and for quinoa you can only cook 2 cups uncooked. For oatmeal it said the max uncooked is 1 cup but that boiled over. Will be returning it and ordering the larger version.

Water spill everywhere and burnt rice
My experience was horrible. First it was splashing hot boiling water everywhere with the lid on. And after all of this, the rice is completely burnt. Completely unusable product.

Works well, no harmful coating on pot, easy to clean
Great little rice cooker! Good for 2-3 people, does not make a big splashy mess like our old one. Easy to clean. Stainless steel so much healthier than the teflon-coated pots.
