Disney/Pixar Story Collection (Step into Reading Collection)

I thought this was a collection of books, similar to what I've seen in brick & mortar bookstores before. I thought the image shown was a picture of the box, if that makes sense, because I've seen so many of those collections of the early reader books. And the other reviews, for some odd reason, say "these books" and reading each story "cover to cover," so you can see where I went wrong. This is one thick paperback book, with five stories. This is yet another popular book with my son and he always wants to read all 5 stories (so be aware in case you have a shorter bedtime routine :)) I thought I should list the stories included, because some are also sold separately and I mistakenly doubled up on the Cars one. 1. Ratatouille: Run, Remy, Run 2. Finding Nemo: Just Keep Swimming 3. Cars: Driving Buddies 4. Toy Story: Buzz's Backpack Adventure 5. Monsters, Inc: Boo on the Loose.

If your kid likes these stories this book is great. We use it for traveling since there are multiple stories in a single book. The graphics are well printed and the stories are perfect.

These books are amazing. My daughter just turned 5 and started kindergarten. She’s learning to read and the fact that these books are written with alot of her sight words make it easy and fun for her to get to read about all of her favorite characters. Perfect books with 2 different levels for the beginning reader to challenge them as they become better readers. I have bought 5 more step into reading books because she loves this one so much.

My son loves reading these books. I would recommend. Good value. High quality pages, not easily destroyed.

Like another reviewer stated, I also thought the books were separate, not all in one binding. I would have given this 5 stars despite the confusion, but after 12 pages of the Buzz Lightyear story, the story is cut off and somehow has the last half of a Sleeping Beauty story?! So we don't have the complete Toy Story story, and my son thought that was "very weird."

My 3 years old loves to read, and she takes this book to the bathroom so she can read while she poops. Sometime she sits on toilet for an hour (literally and seriously) to read this book by herself. So many stories and different levels to give her challenge her reading skills.

Great book for kids learning to read! I love that there is 5 stories in one book instead of having to have them all separate.

It was very good to buy this on sale. I like Disney stories sometimes. These deserve 5 stars because of the price point (less than 5 dollars) and the stories that came in it.

My son has been able to read the stories only 3 months after entering grade 1 and he loves it !

So cute. My daughter loves the familiarity of the Disney characters and she gets good reading practice out of it. I'd pick up more of this series.
