Very well built. All the connections seem to seal. Functions smoothly. Should last awhile

These are quality parts, but I found that the 'pink' anodized section was a bit fat for the Daikin unit and I had to do some weird stuff to make it fit, but apparently I am not alone. I saw there were 'sleeker' units out their but they didn't seem as well built as this. I put these through some abuse (I have more than one), and they are reliable and durable and they just look cool. They definitely close off the connection well with the ball valve. They seal well and they really do let you replace the valve stem without leaking vacuum or refrigerant.

No vacuum leaks. The cheap ones I bought before all were unnecessary trouble. Should have bought this one instead of wasting time and effort because of those cheap ones I had bought before. This is one of those items where you really need to buy the best tools or else you'll cuss about trying to find leaks you shouldn't have. This is the best tool that you really need, you'll forget that it cost more than the others anyway. Buy this one.

Work great once I was able to the valve closed it was struck open took a 30 minute to get to finally close then it worked good except the sniffer valve had hard time getting it to go into the tool had to file the grove to fit but otherwise it was great.

Very good quality tool, a must have for a mini split install or repair. You must remove that valve core to get a good deep vacuum. And in my case, I also had a leaky valve core, I had to replace that valve core. This tool made the job easy.
