I was a little skeptical at first about trying a non name brand version of this product but because of the price difference I figured I'd give it a try. Was very impressed with this. Works exactly as the name brand stuff. I see some people in the reviews complaining that it burns their eyes. To me this is no different that what I experienced with the name brand and was already warned by my eye doctor (who prescribed this), that you will feel some slight burning (which doesn't last long). Overall a very good product so far.

This performs well in treating my corneal edema at a reasonable price.

DON'T PAY MORE FOR AN IDENTICAL SOLUTION IN THE BOTTLE! (title) I'm SO glad to finally refill my cabinet with Rugby Sodium Chloride 5% hypertonic eye drops for my cornea edema that forms when I sleep due to my Fuch's Disease, which is hereditary. (Without the saline to drain the edema off my corneas, my eyesight is cloudy) I'd been out for a while and never could seem to find time to order it despite my need--and nothing else will do otherwise (for my wallet, when it works as well as the high priced Muro brand Sodium Chloride Hypertonicity Ophthalmic Eye Solution 5%). Been using these Rugby saline eye drops for years, and very pleased! I do tend to be allergic to various things, and that's not a problem with this either. YEARS ago I only bought Muro's brand of these exactly same 5% saline eye drops at my suggestion of my eye Dr for my Fuchs Disease, which I didn't know I had--so that's what I did at Walmart. I was paying at least $18 for one 10 ml bottle at Walmart ages ago--who knows how expensive it is now! I was in Heaven when I found these Rugby eye drops, not only MUCH cheaper, but available in packs which are an extra savings! (I usually buy a couple of "packs of 3" which are in separate bottles) And it's not a scam to dump old merchandise either--expiration date of 10/2028 for what I just got at the end of April 2026. Sure, there's the extra cost for a company to make something sterile but sodium chloride solution (basically "salt water") shouldn't cost an arm and a leg! Also, I don't remember if Rugby has an option to buy larger bottles, as I'd also bought Muro drops in a 30 ml bottle. DON'T ever do so, I suggest, since 2 or 3 drops of the expensive Muro would usually run out all at once, despite my gentle squeeze. A waste! Don't waste your $ by paying more for the same ingredients from a different brand!

This is a salty solution to takeaway gumminess feeling in eyes. I use it regularly and even during the day when my eyes feel dry and irritated from the environment and the WIND. It comes in aplastic bottle that allows one drop at a time and is easy to use. It may sting just a little bit if my eyes are really irritated, but provides relief in just seconds. I recommend it

Doesn't sting as bad a Muro and it's cheaper.

This product, I believe, works similar to other products at a reasonable price.

Just as good as that national brand at a much kinder price.
