Breaking Good
Who didn't wonder what happened to Jesse? The broken guy we all rooted for. Well, with El Camino, the brilliant follow-up to Breaking Bad, now you know . . .

Nice to have
Hardly essential, yet it does provide a conclusion to the story of Jesse Pinkman, the primary sidekick to Walter White. It would have been nice to have some reaction scenes to the newscasts from Skyler, Marie and Walter Jnr., and Gretchen and Elliot Schwartz. Since that may have exceeded the scope of the budget and the availability of the actors for this movie, it was not an option to pursue. Anyway . . . This is a satisfactory triple helping of Breaking Bad that does need a reasonable recollection of the entire series, to keep track of the context to the flashbacks and backstory references. For those who don't have that perspective, this may be their motivation to watch all of Breaking Bad. Although this DVD iteration does come with a great dub in French, a commentary track and an audio description track, it is slightly cut to exclude a couple of short scenes and probably slightly less of a jump from one line of action to another. Still there's always the streaming version, I suppose, if I feel the need to be more complete :-)

Would have licked more
Bit disappointing really. About as much action/plot twist as a single episode of the TV series, except this is a movie. Some of the actors had aged badly (Todd in particular should have been encouraged to lose a few pounds). Otherwise workmanlike and worth the money.

Brilliant
Loved this movie and it tied up Breaking Bad perfectly. Wanted to know what happened to Jesse after the end of BB and it's a perfect end.

I was sad as I watched the last episode of Breaking Bad, but then was told about this movie, and the prequel, Better Call Saul. So, I went out and purchased this movie. Unfortunately, I discovered that two of my first less expensive or used DVD purchases of this title were Region 2 formatted and would not play in the US, which is Region 1. After purchasing a new Region 1 copy, for 20.00!!!, I finally was able to watch the movie which I found was a very good film, carrying on the Breaking Bad storyline, and even staring some of the main Breaking Bad characters. The only downside, was the movie itself was rather short, and should have not only been longer, but could have inspired an actual new series Post... Breaking Bad.

I waited at least 5 weeks for this DVD to arrive. I contacted the seller weeks ago - who saw no need to respond to my questions and remarks. To me a DVD is a DVD. However, I recall some technical difference that caused past DVD's from England/Europe to not play on my DVD player. Yet, as if a saving grace, it played on my portable DVD player, which I was able to attach by a cable, and watch on my big screen. I blame both Amazon and the seller. I checked out this DVD on the Amazon site and looked closely to make sure that I wasn't getting an inaccessible British DVD. What's up with that anyhow? So, I paid a large price, waited a long time, and received merchandise that is completely useless to me. I don't know if anger, disappointment, and/or, disgust are strong enough terms to describe my reaction. After a grueling shift as work, I was to treat myself, AT LONG LAST, to a viewing of the sequel to my favorite series "Breaking Bad" - that being "El Camino". You can have back this wothless disc. Someone needs to refund my money.
