I have purchased four 100 foot rolls. I crimp my own ends on and they do not leak under full John Deere pressure. The fact that they slide on so easily is a benefit. It is the best double weave high pressure hose to be found. Thanks to Amazon for making it so affordable and accessible.

The hose came wrapped in a plastic band, kind of like narrow, thick Saran wrap inside a cardboard box. The cardboard box was dry, but the plastic wrap had drops of water inside like it was condensation from being cold and set in a high humidity area. I was surprised by the amount of water that came out on my floor as I took the plastic wrap off the hose. The exposed ends of the steel mesh inside the rubber was all rusty, and when I tried to blow through the hose, it bubbled and blew out water. I am not sure why my hose is full of water, but after I cut the sections I need to make up my hydraulic lines, I will need to take extra effort to dry out the lines to keep the water out of my hydraulic system. Really not happy about having to work with hose full of water, but at this point (still waiting for my crimp ends to come in), I don't see any other problems with the hose.
