Samsonite Add-a-bag Strap, Black, One Size

It is a must in your next travel. Sturdy, right color, easy to use, great fit and survived our 2 first flights.

It hooks together through the handles of the wheeled roller bag and the extra bag. There are 2 clasps, one for each bag. The length is adjustable. The clasps are secure. The second bag may sit on the ground if it is fairly large. When you tilt and pull the wheeled roller bag, the second bag will lift off the ground.

Holds my two luggage pieces together well and releases easily, but like other posts said, it can loosen eaisier than it should. With that said, I don't regret the purchase. Does its job well.

This strap gets the job done but is poorly designed. I have 2 Samsonite f'lite hard sided suitcases which came with mo way to attach them to one another when rolling them. I purchased this Samsonite add a bag strap, and it worked, but not well. First of all, this strap works best on bags that have a lifting handle in addition to the telescopic handle on the top. Secondly, this strap has fixed position female ends and adjustable length straps connected to the male ends. Because of the design of the bag and the design of most suitcases, the strap ends up with the buckles under the handles, not on top of the handles. And because the Samsonite f'lite suitcases don't have an additional top handle, when the telescopic handle is raised, the strap must connect around the bar. This makes the bag that is being pulled veer back and forth when you change direction of the first bag. It's not an ideal solution but it gets the job done. If the strap was one big loop instead of two loops sewed together in the middle, it would have been much easier to operate.

I Wasted my hard earned on thin air. Total junk. The problem is you don't find this out, until your in the middle of your trip.The strap is worthless. It does not, and will not stay tight. So it defeats the purpose of the strap, cause your luggage is falling off to the side,forcing you to hold all three of your bags, which is what you were trying to avoid, on having to do in the first place. I can't believe Samsonite put their name on this. Your wasting your money. But, don't take my word for it, wait until your in the airport, trying to get to your gate and your luggage is falling all over the place! Not cool.

When traveling it’s wonderful to use in airports or cruise lines. One bag attached to the other leaves one hand free.

This is a strong, well made strap. It is the perfect length to piggy back a 21" 4-wheel carry-on to a 26" one, and maneuveres without too much issue. The reason this does not get a 5-star rating is that when I try to shorten the strap, it doesn't stay in position and always reverts back to the longest length. Overall, I'm happy with this strap still, due to it's durability. NOTE: So far, I have only tested this with light bags on a smooth surface, but will update after the strap is put to the test in handling heavier weights.

I love the idea of this thing. It does let you connect your bags together; but the strap is always expanding out to its longest length, so it’s a bit awkward to use. If it maintained its length setting I would give it additional stars.
