Works perfect with Streamlight
I have an M-Lok handguard with picatinny only on the top and nothing resembling a picatinny "ledge" on the side I wanted to mount it on. I was mounting a Streamlight Pro Tac 2 light with the tape switch. Installation was easy, just unscrew the 4 screws which hold the Streamlight picatinny mount to the light itself and replace with the Ariska scount mount and included screws (I used some Loctite at the recommended torque setting Ariska had on the packaging). The only thing that befuddled me slightly was how I was going to tighten the light/scout mount to the handguard since the screws (hex head I believe) were covered by the light but then realized that the M-Lok mount end is designed to go toward the receiver side and you simply screw off the end cap of the light to give yourself access (the directions aren't clear on this and I didn't take time to youtube it; how hard could it be...). Some people might like the Streamlight mount (assuming you could figure out how to mount it) since it's going to end up putting the light a bit more (maybe even a lot) off the handguard but the Ariska really brings the light close to the handguard and I don't have any issues (or any significant ones anyway) with shadowing from the barrel/bird cage.

Good product
Puts the light where I want it. It is neatly machined and sits flush with the hand guard.

Never Doubted It.
Just as you would expect from a quality manufacturer like Arisaka. The mount is solid and fits perfect, as with the hardware.

Solid mount.
I originally tried a Unity tactical m-lok adapter, but it put the light to close to the BCM fixed front sight and it wouldn't mount. The screws on the Unity adapter also wouldn't fit because there wasn't enough clearance between my KX5 and my BCM MCMR 9" rail. The Arisaka adapter worked perfect. It mounted behind the KX5 and put the light exactly where it would have been with the other adapter. I was able to use the middle holes and it mounted close enough to my front sight only allowing enough room to slip a piece of paper in between the two. Since I wanted the light to be very close to the bore I filed down the mounting flats on my Arisaka m300 to get it lower on the mount and give it more contact surface area.

Gets the job done
As for most Arisaka products it gets the job done. Sometimes the Mlok bolt heads can be a little wonky to get in and out but thats prob just user error and my BCM handguard is brand new. For those wondering I have this one a Streamlight Protac XL and it fits fine with no issues. I will say though if you are using flip up front BUIS it can be a little snug with that particular flashlight to go with the 3 O'clock mounting position on the right side, because of how the bolt head sticks out.
