What is the difference between the gold sea moss and the purple?

Gold and purple sea moss are the same type of sea moss, the difference is in how it is dried which impacts its taste and nutrients. Purple sea moss is shade dried, retaining its natural colour vs gold sea moss is sundried, losing its natural colour. Purple sea moss is higher in antioxidants, phytonutrients and anthocyanins, which is what gives certain fruits and vegetables its bright reds, purples and blues. Purple sea moss is known to have a stronger flavor and smell while gold sea moss is very neutral in taste and smell. Both are excellent sources of essential vitamins and minerals.

I will tell ya to me and other people I know who make there own gel. This brand is good. I purchased elsewhere and got fake stinky and damp. So here I am. This 1 is DRY and Odorless Which is real
