I never thought I'd review a mop, let alone want to review one. And I dislike cleaning the house. After decades of using locally purchased mediocre dry mops, none durable enough to last more than two or three years, all with design flaws resulting in frustration and breakage, I bought an 18 inch wide Nine Forty. I suspect it will end my frustration. Its metal (steel and aluminum) parts appear to be strong enough to last at least a decade of hard use. The head swivels to allow mopping under furniture and in corners (some mops don't). It picks up dust, cat litter, flotsam and jetsam, and all manner of detritus from my wood floors better than any previous mop. The durable mop head itself shakes or brushes clean with less residue than any I've used. Want to remove it and beat it against a post? It goes on and comes off in about five seconds. (The mop itself assembles in about 90 seconds and that includes reading the directions and analyzing components.) The area I mop at least once a day is a challenging obstacle course so I base my "review" on repeated use rather than a first impression. And then, the other day, I was at the supermarket and saw a guy cleaning the floor with the same mop as mine. It looked at least ten years old, displayed obvious signs of use and abuse, but nothing was loose or broken. So much for potential buyer's remorse. As unfulfilling as it may be to push around a mop, if a company manufactures a product properly, takes obvious pride in quality, and creates something as good as or better than its competitors somebody should point that out. You may not be crazy about spending more than a few dollars on a mop but this one definitely is worth its price. It is superb.

Absolutely love! We have dark wood laminate click in floors. Fairly slick. 3 pets with white and tan fur. We do an quick sweep with this 1-2 times a day and pet hair is kept under control. I love it! Super easy to use.

Ordered this mop for our basement floor. It works great!! Easy to use and clean and works very well. We initially had a problem with a broken piece on the handle and the seller replaced the handle with no problem. This is truly a commercial product and backed up by an excellent seller.

Just got it, assemble it and ran it over our large tile and hardwood floors, and it does a pretty good job. It did several hundred sq. feet of floor in under 2 minutes! Of course I was a deck Navy sailor, so that makes me a real pro! Watch out for the near razor sharp edges when you use your fingers to operate the joining clamp to the mop! I'll file them down and all will be well. Well made, and very easy to assemble. Practically no time to do it.

But this thing is SO good, I can use it all over the house. It's made very well and REALLY WORKS. I think it will work even better as the mop head gets broken in more and becomes softer. Just received the 24" mop - initial impressions are that this is a very good quality mop. But first... the "Handwritten Note" everyone likes to refer to is a printed sticker that looks like a note - but still a nice gesture. Cant blame the guy for not wanting to write hundreds of notes - your wrist would fall off. So I ordered the 24" NYLON version of this mop, but received the cotton mop head. I called the CS number & left a message. I honestly thought I would never hear back because, well, its just a mop we're talking about. Kurt returned my call personally and resolved the situation on the spot without any problems. Thats great Customer service thats hard to find these days. MOP review - The mop handle is AWESOME! and thats why I bought this mop. Im 6' 10" tall & the full extension of the handle is absolutely great. Its sturdy & solid as well. The mop frame & mop head are standard items you can get at any janitorial supply store leaving about $25 for the price of that nice long alum adjustable pole. I would buy that pole alone for $25, no problem - its a real back saver! Perhaps the Nylon mop head is a better performer then the cotton? Thats why I ordered the Nylon - but I will find out in a few days when the Nylon replacement mop head arrives. The cotton mop head is about like any other - nothing fantastic, gets the job done. Also, when machine washing cotton mop heads, always use net or garment bag or they can get torn apart from the agitator as one reviewer noted happened to their cotton mop head. Thats standard for all mop heads, not just this one.

Vacuum cleaners can't do it all. We wear a lot of fleece. Fleece sheds tiny fibers that collect along the floor/wall interface. This mop reaches right in and removes the dust. No plug-in, no battery, no noise. It can be used on edge in two inch wide spaces, no changing or attachments hassle. Floor trim can be dusted, no problem. I took a chance with the artificial fiber version, so far, so good. Cleaning the mop head is a bit of a pain, but it figures. If it picks up and holds dust, it only makes sense that it may be more difficult for the fibers to release it. I'll try hand washing it. Using a brush alone to remove captured dust and hair is not efficient.

I bought better quality mop for half of the price. I Try to return the same day it arrived and found out it is not eligible for a return. The mop bar is good quality but the mop itself is not double the quality of the local retailer. Just go to a cleaning supplies store/company and buy from them
