Why does this have or need Lactose in it?

I am not sure why this product has lactose as an ingredient. Most things we consume have fillers and binders. I do know that after having insomnia for over 20 years plus it is the only thing that has worked for me and believe me I have tried them all.

Does it contain gluten?

It does not say "Gluten Free" anywhere on the box. I have never heard of any of the ingredients. I tried it for a few nights and it didn't help.

At the boiron website the inactive ingredients show it is NOT sugar free. Inactive ingredients include: croscarmellose sodium, lactose, magnesium stearate. Nothing but a sugar pill with minute amounts of the ingredients. 3C is the ingredient diluted 3000 times, 3X is the ingredient diluted 3 times. This is how homeopathy claims to work. May want to try looking for a Naturopathic and getting a supplement of the real undiluted ingredients. I did not purchase this product. Almost did but my body cannot tolerate any sugar certainly not sucrose derivatives.
