Works as expected.
Plugged into the Alpine stereo and tested out fine. The 3.5 plug is mono, not stereo so sound quality may be impacted.

Great Replacement 4 Built in Mics
Long cable makes it easy to use from many locations. Definitely better than the built in mic found on the head unit. Great for replacement head units that don't work with vehicle mics.

Improvement on headunit MIC
Used this one to replace the android headunit microphone. and what a difference.. before people complained the volume was very low and they could hear noise. As soon as replaced with this one, it operates very similar to the original car mic (not using the car mic with the aftermarket headunit. not worth the trouble to get it working). I got this mic and I can say it has been perfect on 100% of the calls taken from the car.

doesn't work with kenwood 47s. this thing was a waste of money. everyone says they can barely hear and sounds like static. The orginal kenwood one worked great thought this would be an upgrade but now I am going to have to find a better one .

The microphone does work but it sounds like your in a canyon. Maybe it's my stereo but I've tried several different locations to fix the issue but nothing helped. I will try another brand.

Mic is awful. Do not recommend.
The reviews about the mic issues are correct. Muffled sound, cuts in and out, picks up road/wind noise with windows closed.

Clip is broken
Mic seems to be ok, but the plastic clip that holds the mic up has broken. Will try something else next time.
