Vegetarian approved! I **LOVE** this product!
I was a bit leery to purchase due to all the negative reviews. I’ve never seen a product with such biased reviews on both ends of the spectrum! They’re all over the place. I just received my black Caviart today, and I absolutely LOVE it! A full breakdown: *First impresssion, the size of the container is generous, when comparing to my usual grocery store shelf (real) caviar. I like the premium quality looking packaging of this as well, it’s very appealing. *Opening the container, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the product is NOT liquidy as some reviewers mentioned. Just like real caviar, it’s a solid product. Visual appeal, this looks like the real thing. *Aroma: there is no chemical smell as another reviewer insinuated. It doesn’t smell awkward or bad. *Solidarity: scooped just as I would real caviar, and it holds it shape very nicely. Perfect little “eggs” that are uniform in shape. *Taste: here’s the real test! Perfect little “eggs” that feel pleasant on the palate (very nice smooth texture!), that gently *pop* with a pleasant lightly salted flavor. No weird aftertaste. *Final thoughts: I LOVE this product, even better than the real thing, and I HIGHLY recommend it! This is not a novelty product, it is an amazing substitute to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I’m absolutely amazed at how some of these companies put out such fantastic flavorful plant based products that are so similar, if not better, than the real thing.

Not the outcome I expected.
I was excited to get the item and actually enjoyed the taste even though it was a tad bit salty, but I'm pretty sure it gave me food poisoning and I wasn't able to hold anything down for days after eating it including Thanksgiving. I will not buy again. Had to throw the rest away.

Best topping
I bought it because I wanted to treat myself to restaurant-style sushi, but homemade. However, caviar is very expensive, and I didn’t want to spend that much just for a craving. That’s why I looked for other options and came across this vegan caviar. I’m not vegan, but I’ve really enjoyed its flavor—it’s salty and works very well as a sushi topping. I know real caviar pops when you bite into it; this one doesn’t, but I don’t see that as a downside. It still tastes very good. The package arrived in good condition and completely full, although I’ve used quite a bit of it since it arrived.

Much better than expected
The "eggs" ARE firm and not nearly as salty as many reviews in here complain about. They're not mushy or over powering in any way. I like them, much better than expected and I expected the worst from the reviews but decided to see for myself and am glad I gave them a try. I'm not a vegan but if they can produce seaweed caviar that's as close to the real thing as this for much less I'm all in. I expected an inferior mushy, extremely salty and wet cheap product from reading the reviews but from my end they were all wrong. I'll definitely be buying more of this

pretty good and helps curb a craving for caviar.
For what it is, what it’s not (real caviar) and what it costs- this is actually pretty good and helps curb a craving for caviar. It’s really “crunchy” almost like Tobiko. Not as salty as some others but the lack of dyes in it- worth the trade off. Honestly don’t think you could say anything bad about this if you’ve had caviar, know you like caviar, and want something as a trade off for the price. It does NOT taste like true caviar but again- curbs a craving.

No flavor.
If you are looking for something that pops in your mouth, boba would be a better alternative. There is no flavor to these and the smell is a little off putting. I wouldn’t say it’s a chemical smell but it definitely is not a smell that should come from food. The pop is good, but I ended up throwing mine in the trash after a few bites. It was a waste.

Keep improving this product, Caviart people.
Well. What arrived was a little jar of (too much) dark liquid with some rather tiny dots of "Caviart." I know this is not caviar, nor did I expect caviar, so I give them credit for their creativity. I mean, come on, the name "Caviart" is probably the best part of this. After a few tastes on a spoon I had to decide whether to throw it out or refrigerate it to try again later. I did refrigerate it and will probably taste again later and more likely than not dispose of it. I have been yearning for caviar for some reason - salt craving perhaps? I haven't eaten any in many years other than the not great, very cheap Romanoff black lumpfish which I bought from Amazon and also threw out. Clearly, you get what you pay for. Maybe work on the product, Caviart, improve it somehow - I would possibly be open to trying again. I try to eat clean and eat sea vegetables but this didn't taste like any of the sea vegetables (arame, wakame, kombu, hiziki, etc.) that I'm familiar with. Actually, this might be altered hiziki. I am giving this product 3 stars for their effort in creating some kind of natural alternative.

Fun "arty" flair for foods.
We love this for adding a little decoration to things like deviled eggs.
