Bosch 15733 Universal 4-Wire Oxygen Sensor
The Bosch 15733 Universal 4-Wire Oxygen Sensor is a cost-effective alternative to direct-fit OE replacement sensors when harness splicing is required. By reusing the original factory connector with Bosch's SmartLink enclosure system, it eliminates the need for soldering or specialized crimping tools while maintaining environmental sealing. Fit & Compatibility: Features standard M18 x 1.5 threading with a 22mm hex body, fitting standard exhaust bung locations across a wide range of Asian, European, and domestic 4-wire narrow-band applications. The kit includes 26 inches (660mm) of high-temperature lead wire, providing adequate length for custom routing. Installation: The included SmartLink/Posi-Lock connection kit allows direct pin-to-pin coupling without soldering, which Bosch explicitly advises against to prevent wire fatigue and resistance variations. Match the two white heater wires directly to the OE heater leads, the black wire to signal, and the gray wire to sensor ground before securing the weather-pack outer sleeve. Quality & Construction: Utilizes a planar zirconia ceramic sensing element with an integrated heater circuit for quick operating temperature light-off. The sensor body uses a double laser-welded stainless steel casing, and threads come pre-coated with anti-seize compound directly out of the box to prevent galling during torque-down. Durability: The SmartLink junction box forms a submersible, vibration-resistant seal that prevents road salt, water, and engine bay oil mist from penetrating the reference air gap. Signal output stays stable under high thermal cycling, eliminating dynamic air-fuel feedback fluctuations and clearing heater-circuit fault codes. Value for Money: Saves significant cost over application-specific plug-and-play harnesses by transferring the original connector housing, making it an excellent value for money solution for harness repair or legacy vehicle maintenance.

Excellent fixed the problem
Very good saves me money almost 50% instead of buying the one with full harness, it takes about 30 minutes to splice and connect after measuring and planning, Bosch oem quality is the one to buy.

Takes some effort on the customer part.
It works on 2003 c240 . You need a good pair of wire strippers, because you want a clean wire strip and pretty price on amount. I stripped a little more than quarter inch then use wire cutters to cut to exact lenth. The instructions are kinda vague ,watch the video on insulation. It took me about one hour to do both of them, but I took time to watch the video. The box that they has a good picture of the oxygen sensor ,so you get a basic idea of how to assemble ,but you need The instructions for the assembly. Make sure the wires match and are crimped tight. It’s a trade off if you want to take the time to assemble this one, or buy a direct fit for the extra money. So far they work, long term time will tell.

BMW 335i - Fixed my code!
2008 BMW 335i with the N54 engine, bought this to clear a 2C7B code (secondary oxygen sensor fault). The splice kit is really nice, it takes about 30 minutes to splice into the BMW connector, at a much lower cost! I put about 300 miles on the car since i did this repair and the code hasn't came back.

Great product and easy job
My van is Sienna 2006. The error code was P0158 (bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor). Location of the sensor is at the bottom of engine right under hood lock. The upstream sensor is on the upper front part of the engine, close to the hood lock. Bank 2 sensor 1 downstream sensor is just under the body of passenger seat with connector under the seat. To loose sensors, you need warm up engine for 3 to 5 minutes. When it is clod, it is impossible to remove it. When it is hot, it is very easy. Toyota sensor is type B in Bosch's document. The wiring mapping order is two blacks, one white, and one blue of Toyota sensor for two whites, one gray, and one black of Bosch respectively. Wiring may take a half hour or longer because you want to do it right at the first time. For 15 days and 1400 miles after the repair, no more check engine lights. The problem is fixed. Toyota sensor may be Denson OEM part and costs over $200. The labor costs $100+. It took me one hour and $50+ bucks. The above review was on Feb 28, 2010. As of now (Sep 24, 2012), more than two years and a half after, it still has no issue since the fix.

Missing Smartlock components
Just opened the box and it’s missing the “Smart Connector” components. Only contains the sensor, two zip ties, and a small rubber band. Luckily I did some research and watched the Bosch video. Now I know to stay away from soldering the connections and crimp them instead. Still added hassle for a process that would have been much simpler if I received all the parts that are supposed to be in the package. My cousin drove 16hrs home for Christmas and needs his vehicle fixed before heading home. So, returning this for a complete one is not an option for us. If it works as intending, after using alternative connectors, I may update this review to a couple stars.

not five like my 04 Volvo s60R
HAS FOUR WIRES, not five like my 04 Volvo s60R, does not fit. Check your car first before buying. It was wrongly advertised on the "check if part fits" section. For $100 at local auto parts store, bought the full Bosch sensor so no old parts were still used. Works great and totally worth it for having new part with both connecting ends of the part. I don't know now if I can return this part since it doesn't fit?

Works
Never done an oxygen sensor before but this seemed to work. It’s a universal kit with several different plug options, that took a bit of extra thinking but I got it done on my 2000 Chev Tracker 2l.
