Gardein Plant-Based Chick'n & Rice Soup, Vegan, 15 oz.

Absolutely divine....I also add some red pepper sometimes just to give it a little kick, but it's really comfort food for us vegetarians. Healthy ingredients with the perfect thickness too.

I love Gardein products and soups and this is delicious. I love the other canned soups, as well. Full of rice and "chicken-like meatballs," vegan of course. It's well priced here, as well. When they're in stock, I buy them. Recommend.

I love the Gardein Plant-Based products. This Vegan Chick’n & Rice Soup is a solid choice, expecially if you are feeling under the weather or craving a hot soup to make quickly from the can during cold weather— really warms you up! Also, there is a lot of rice, which makes it hearty, and the flavor is enhanced with the addition of the vegan “Chick’n.”

These are really tasty, but they just have way too much sodium for one can of soup. I was floored when I saw the amount. That’s a days worth or pretty close. Every once in a while is fine but regularly you would struggle to stay healthy. If health isn’t a factor, have atcha. They’re super tasty. I’m glad I tried them and there truly is not much deviation from the real meat versions. The texture is on point, but the wedding soup is a bit more bland. Especially for something with so much salt. This check is yummy.

I have been a vegetarian my whole life. I am always looking out for new vegan/vegetarian foods with faux meat substitutes. I can say I am not a fan of the gardein plant based options. They all have a weird chemical taste and another weird aftertaste I can’t quite explain. The faux “meat” is not a good texture and has an off putting flavor to it. I am glad I only purchased one can of each variety.

This soup is good, and I definitely prefer it to other meat-free brands, but there are some… unfortunate after-effects, at least for me. The bathroom experience isn’t particularly gross as the soup smells almost exactly the same going out as it did going in… which is the main problem. It’s hard not to associate the excrement smell with the soup smell, so feel free to get some, but be aware that you’re probably not going to find it very appetizing after the first can or two.

Could have more rice in it but believe it or not it's good good bro I just added my own meat but it's good try it
