Inspiring book, great photos & step by step guide.

This is a lovely book with some really nice fabric journals in it. Beautiful photography. I was disappointed that not all the projects contain instructions. I bought the book for the project on the cover and wasn’t pleased that this is one of the projects without instructions. Most of the projects contain vintage fabrics so you couldn’t replicate the projects, just use them as inspiration. Hence only 4 stars.

This is a beautiful and inspiring book full of helpful information and 'how to's'. Not so much an instruction manual as a dip in and out for ideas book. Loved it and will be having a go.

A beautiful book, filled with ideas and techniques. I thought I would enjoy dipping in, but found I was drawn in, so read from cover to cover at the first sitting. Delightful and inspiring, with follow along projects, or take those ideas and using your own fabrics and ingredients to make something of your very own. My hubby is going to have a read, if he can get hold of it! I may have a look at the authors earlier book.

I bought several copies of this to give to my family as a challenge for the new year. There are so many reasons to keep a journal and so many reasons to start this year. This book is the push we all need to record life, to stop and take stock, to record and review. I gave them as gifts with a blank journal and a piece of calico as a starting point. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing what my family and friends come up with! It's a lovely book, full of inspirational ideas and tips.

Another beauty from this author. I have all of her books, very sweet lovely pictures, delicate hand sewing or machine you pick, lots of photos they are larger photos for observing these beautiful stitches and more. Believe about 8.5 x 11 in size glossy pages softcover book. Nice stories and also how to do stitches. The print is black on white pages for easy reading. Inspiration on where and how to begin as well. Well thought out book. Another book for my collection on journals and more. Tilly Rose, cannot wait for another beauty from you!

Informativ mit vielen Step_by Step Anleitungen- Sehr persönlich und einfühlend geschrieben und eine gute Anregung zur eigenen Geschichte zu kreieren. Ich kann das Buch nur weiter empfehlen für alle die Lust haben sich auf das Thema einzulassen und etwas Schönes zu schaffen!
