Its a vacuum cleaner. Its lightweight but does a great job. Its ideal for our little cottage with a mixture of hard floors and carpets. Price was fantastic and this is a value for money item. Its easy to split down for stair cleaning, light enough to carry upstairs, good length of lead, and appears to be durable and well made

I’m obsessed with this hoover. Best one i have ever had, I’ve had it for a good while now so can give an honest review. Never had a problem with it, great suction, easy to use, take apart, put back together. The chord stretches a fair way too, i can do my living room and kitchen in one go with just one plug and can do the landing, stairs and front entrance with the same plug too.

I had a shark vacuum before and was very happy with it so decided to get another one. The positives are that it has really excellent suction, the light is strong so you can see the dirt on the floor, the part that rolls on the ground is large so you cover a good amount of floor with little effort, if you are hoovering carpets you can reduce suction power so it moves more easily. The negatives are because the dust cylinder is lower down you cannot go under furniture like you could with the older version. This is particularly annoying when trying to vacuum under beds, you just can't. I understand why the cylinder is low down in that you're not carrying its weight in your hand, which you did in the older version, however it has reduced its ability to get under beds and armchairs. You can take the stick out and add an attachment, but all the attachments are very small so it would take you forever to vacuum underneath a bed. This is the same issue when hoovering stairs, moving the whole vacuum on the stairs is cumbersome as it is large and heavy, but using the stick with the small stair attachment takes too long, I vacuum using the whole machine. Shark need to provide an attachment to add to the stick which is at least 20 cm wide to make light work of stairs and under furniture such as beds. I now use a less good vacuum for under the beds, and this new Shark one for the rest of the house. Not ideal but doable.

Very good. Light and manageable. Settings for hard floor and carpet. Easy to empty. Good value.

I've always had a policy of never buying the cheapest vacuum cleaner but never paying over the top either. Over recent years that's usually meant a cylinder vacuum around the £50 - £60 mark and after a few months finding it's not worth the money. So with the sales on and a bit of spare cash I splashed out on what was claimed to be the number 1 upright in the country - the first time I'd ever paid three figures. It does take some getting used to as it's not that intuitive - pick it up to move it by the handle and the top half separates; you have to pick it up to move by the handle half way down. Press on the foot pedal to pull the handle back to an angle and it's just not having it - the large floor roller part lifts of the ground and the handle stays at 90 degrees to it. I have to get down and push the pedal by hand while leaning the handle back. Emptying took a couple of goes to realise that the cylinder opens at the bottom as well as the top. Having said all that there is no doubt that this is by far the best, most effective, vacuum cleaner I've ever had. It's powerful enough to suck up several years of dust and once you've got used to the above issues it's great to manoeuvre around both in standard upright position and separated for use on the stairs. The crevice tool works superbly although the storage position is less than ideal. The real justification will come in how long it lasts to see if it's value for money but it's certainly off to a great start. I'm starting to regret all those short lived cheap vacuums I wasted money on.

Great product delivered quickly. Picks up every bit as much dust as my £300 Shark but is so much lighter so ideal for anyone with mobility or dexterity issues who struggles with heavier weighted vacuum cleaners. I would say the cord hooks could be higher up but that's a personal thing because of back issues and the crevice tool does fall off its holder when the vacuum is pushed around. So some tiny little design issues but the lighter weight is definitely this vacuum cleaner's best feature ! I would highly recommend it just on that alone ! Two modes, carpet and hard floor. Sucked so much dust out of my carpet and yet it had been hoovered with the £300 Shark earlier today ! All in all, incredible suction, lightweight and simple to use. A little on the flimsy plastic side in places but for £130 you can't complain at all. Thank you Shark x

This is as close to the perfect vacuum cleaner I have owned (I have had Henry/Dyson, even Amazon hoovers)... But this machine is the beast I have always wanted. It literally filled up in one hoovering session (capacity not a problem, large), and it took seconds to empty without anything getting stuck. The cord length is more than enough. It's very effective at picking up pretty much anything. If anything does get hoovered up by accident it's easy to trace and remove. The speed settings are enough hard/soft. The lights are fantastic, I can see every single piece of dust and dirt there is. It's not heavy to move and makes hoovering fun again. It even looks fantastic. I find it hard to fault so the only thing would be the white dust filter needing to be washed or replaced, but I think it's necessary. Anyway, definitely buy it and ignore the people saying it's cheap, I don't know what they hoover with but it's definitely well made. Plastic doesn't need to be as solid as a 1960s hoover, it adds weight, just like cars didn't have carbon fibre, times change.
