Contour Pillow (Side Sleeper)

Awesome pillow. Very soft cover, really supportive. I finally woke up with no neck pain. The inside foam looks nothing like what is pictured but it works well

The pillow is great and it is been helping me minimize my mild sleep apnea. The sleep disturbance statistics from my Apple Watch have improved significantly since I started using the Blissbury pillow! The pillow is adjustable. The highest end worked best for me as it elevates my head and reduces snoring. Excellent product and great support. Also, a five year guarantee came with the pillow. Quite a bargain for $40!

Im in the worst pain of my life, easily. ACL reconstruction on my right knee. I can’t sleep from the pain, really, and I desperately started looking for anything to help. This pillow does, but not how I was expecting. For me, it is stiff, or a little too firm. The full pillow caused neck pain, I was surprised. I took out the middle (gloriously giving, i wish more if the pillow was like that!) which helped but it’s still not so nice as my partner’s temperpedic. However, I’ll keep it, it’s excellent for between my legs. I hadn’t slept for about a week, but this pillow supports my operated knee just right. I was able to catch a few hours of rest here and there, finally. And I like it for other positions, the couch, etc.

I have been having neck problems and this pillow helped improve the curvature in my neck. Before this pillow I had 0% curve in my neck. Since I got this pillow I have 10%. My chiropractor was very happy to see this improvement. Regular chiropractic adjustments wasn’t enough. But this pillow saved my neck. And it’s so soft and comfortable.

Bought one for a Christmas gift. Had to return. One side was flat and the whole pillow never puffed up like it should've. Started return process and received a new one and same defects. Returned both and waiting on refund. This use to be a awesome pillow, as I already had 2 of them. Super disappointed that I received bad product, as these pillows are not cheap, but will order a similar pillows, just from a different company.

I had been having bad neck pain and was using the "rolled up towel in your pillowcase" method, but it was so frustrating to keep in the right place. So I found this pillow and decided to give it a try since it looked like the same basic shape as a pillow with a rolled up towel in it. It has worked great for me so far (almost 3 weeks). I appreciate that it had a higher side and a lower side, since its hard to tell what height you want it to be, so I was able to try out both heights and figure out which was more comfortable. The pillow is small compared to a standard size pillow, but I liked that as well, since it made it easier to sleep on the edge how I like to. So far, I've been very pleased with the support and comfort for my neck.

Prior versions of this Blissbury pillow had top and bottom layers that were black in color (similar black color of charcoal memory foam used by other manufacturers). The middle layer was light blue in color and presumably not charcoal infused. The black layers were slower return to original shape than was the blue layers. However, now all 3 layers are the same light blue in color. Yet Blissbury continues to advertise the pillow as charcoal memory foam. I have one of these Blissbury pillows that was the prior version with top and bottom black layers. I like it very much. I tried one of these latest versions with all 3 layers light blue color. The pillows are NOT the same. There is a different feel to latest version (it feels firmer to me). Now all 3 layers are the quick return to original shape foam. For me, the latest version is not as comfortable. And, I wonder whether the light blue foam now used is really even charcoal memory foam. p.s. Today, most of the foam pillows advertised as memory foam are very quick return to shape, not the slow return foam popularized by Tempur-pedic in their original neck pillows. I don't know the precise chemical characteristics and manufacturing process for memory foam, but I don't think the quick recovery "memory" foam common today should be advertised as memory foam when it has lost its memory. Perhaps is should be called Alzheimers foam.

The height is good and my neck does hurt less since using it, but the foam is a little too stiff. I often wake up with a sore ear from laying on it. I found out the middle layer is softer so I put that on top. It helped, but didn't solve the issue completely. This is the first contoured pillow I've tried.

I love the way I can adjust the thickness of the pillow by removing a layer of memory foam. It’s made of 3 quality layers.

A great little pillow to assist with plantar fasciitis as caused by hips not aligned due to the way I sleep.. on my side. Stretching my neck out on my old pillow was uncomfortable and added to my posture and PF. This has proven to be very comfortable.. this pillow places my head in a comfy position on my back or side. I use with a side pillow between my knees. I highly recommend this. Very handy bag to roll is also a great idea. I write this review weeks later as I wanted to give a honest review. My 85 yr old mum recommended this to me as she had great results as well sometime back. Looking to find replacement cover after 15 months? Please anyone?

I've purchased this pillow, a little over a month ago and here are my thoughts on it. I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, C-PTSD, mild Sleep Apnea and have been searching for a pillow, for a few years now. After about a weak-worth of research (reviews, comparison of other brands, etc.), I decided to give this one a try. As a side note - Australian products' quality, have been pleasantly surprising me, overall. It arrived quickly, was very well packaged, has appropriate certifications, etc. - all satisfactory there. Many reviews mention the persistent smell of foam. For me, it wasn't too strong right out of the vacuum-sealed packaging. I do have sensitivities, so I put it outside during the day - to air out. Little tip here, - separate the layers and let each layer air-out separately. After two days outside, I didn't smell anything off of it, but only when I put my face on the pillow (covered by two pillowcases - the original one and my own thin cotton one). Which I can attribute to my sensitivities. So, I laid all layers out inside, under the ceiling fan - for another day and after that, haven't noticed any perceivable smell. And to be honest,- foam is foam and will smell regardless. Unless it's in a sealed case, but at least this one is certified for lower chemical content and being safer for humans (I do trust their certification). Onto the experience of sleeping on it. Prior to using this pillow, my right shoulder was a bit higher than the left one, and my left hip was hyper-extended to compensate, for a few days. Which was uncomfortable, to say the least. First few nights took some adjusting to it, but on the mornings (and days) after, I felt great relief. My posture got re-aligned and my long neck was finally getting support, that was much needed. I tried it with and without the middle layer and have found that the middle layer needs to stay in, for me. Overall, I would highly recommend it, if you're willing to exercise some patience in the beginning - for the sake of healing and comfort, in a long run.

Sits a bit small in a standard pillow case so it looks a bit sad. Otherwise it's pretty comfortable for the price point and not too hard like some contoured pillows I've tried.

Great quality pillow for neck support. Would be helpful if could add another layer to make pillow higher loft. Strong scent on unpacking, best used with pillow protector. Overall comfortable and well made.
