Case Compatible with 15.6" Dell XPS 15 9500 9510 9520 / Precision 5550 5560 5570 Series Laptop Computer ONLY (NOT Fitting Other Dell Models) Clear

I saw this case when I bought my laptop months ago but was too scared to buy it because of the bad reviews. I got courageous enough to buy after slightly scratching an edge at work - I had to. Now, i see no reason for all the bad reviews. It fits like a glove and works like I expected. The only thing is that while the transparent one is fine, I feel like the darker one would last longer as I feel that little specks of dust may go in between the laptop and the case over time and become annoying to look at.

This case fits perfectly on my 2020 9500. Easy enough to fit and remove and the fit is perfect. It has reinforced corners, which are a plus. What isn't so good is the way the lower half clips on. There are 2 hooks along the front edge which are exactly where your wrists lie. I think they could have moved the hooks so that they clipped into a bass speaker vent either side instead, or slightly covered each front corner so they weren't right where your hands rest. The other issue is that without the case there's a nice magnetic closure system which pretty much seals the keyboard/screen from the outside when the lid's closed. The case's hooks interfere with this, so there's a gap all the way round when it's closed and dust can get in. Due to the gap, the magnets can't exert as much force as they would normally, so it's easier for the lid to come open.unintentionally. The bass speaker vents are in a weird place where the sound that's normally directed outwards side to side is being directed downwards, which will be reducing the efficiency of the speakers. 6/10

Je possède un XPS 15 de 2020 , cette coque transparente s'adapte très bien dessus et elle est très résistante , les petites pattes derrière permet d'être surélevè ce qui améliore la ventilation du PC et donne aussi un confort pour taper au clavier .

Esta carcasa es ideal para el Dell XPS 15 (9500). Llegó muy bien y rápido. La carcasa es muy fácil de colocar, no se sale, y cubre perfectamente el portátil por delante y por debajo. Tiene dos patitas plegables en la parte de atrás También permite conectar todo lo necesario en los puertos Thunderbolt, USB 3, audio y tarjeta de memoria. Uso el portátil para editar fotos y vídeo (uso intenso), y no parece que se caliente más de lo habitual con la carcasa. No la quito nunca. Ho acquistato la cover per proteggere il mio Dell XPS 15 appena acquistato, e fa il suo egregio lavoro. Copre pienamente il dispositivo in tutti gli angoli sensibili e non ostruisce l'apertura del coperchio. Il PC risulta perfettamente coperto quando chiuso, e non compromette lo spessore del dispositivo che risulta ancora trasportabile senza ingombri. Trovo comodissima la possibilità di rialzare il PC per garantire non solo ventilazione ma anche utilizzo più comodo del portatile. ATTENZIONE: Il PC compatibile deve essere strettamente l'XPS 15 della serie 9500 o l'analogo della serie precision.
