How to install the glass knob to the lid

If you push the tip of your index finger against the hole underneath the lid, thus stretching the hole bigger the glass knob more easily slips in…. Good luck. Worked for me

Would they deter my cat from driving from my glass, would they fit a standard soda glass?

They fit a standard diameter soda/water glass, not sure about the cat though. I use these a lot to stop any small flies and insects getting into my drink.
