I just had my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops remodeled, and I have several places where the cabinets are hitting the adjacent area and causing damage to themselves without this in place. It's not the most glamorous solution, but I don't really notice the little bits any more. I cut this up and put small "bumpers" in areas where the cabinet handles would smack into wood on the opened side, and also on the overhead vent that was getting hit by the corner cabinet door when it was opened all the way. It is clear-ish silicon, so I expect it to be able to stand the heat from cooking for quite some time. Hopefully the adhesive will keep it stuck where I put it and not melt if I get over-enthusiastic with the burners going. It has worked like a charm, and I don't wince when I open my cabinets and hear the staccato "bang" of metal hitting wood. Now I hear a muffled "thump" and know that I won't be denting or scratching up my cabinets. I also used it in my master bath where one cabinet is next to an adjacent entry door for the toilet area. It will probably get noticed pretty easily by someone coming in and looking around, but I prefer functional over "super-pretty". It thick enough to provide a good cushion, which is what I wanted. It's easy to cut and the adhesive seems to be pretty good, too. I haven't had any problems with the bits I've stuck up falling off. I'll test later if I have a problem getting them back OFF again from the wood after they've been adhered for a while. Hopefully not.

Works perfectly, has held up on my cabinet so far- I got it because my doorknob directly hits my cabinet (I have a small room) and it's protected my furniture perfectly. It has not slipped off, really easy to install, just cut it and stick it and it'll fit any 90 degree angle. Very durable as it has held up against my evil doorknob.

I guess I’d rate this more at 3.5. It’s made of silicone, and I got the clear color. It’s very easy to peel and stick and seems to fit most standard household corners. However, I cannot get over the smell. It’s very chemical smelling. At first I thought it was the bag it came in, but it’s a combination of the product and adhesive. Definitely wash your hands after handling. If chemical smells don’t bother you, then this product would be 5 stars

It was incredibly easy to apply this product to the edges of my desk. It is transparent, yet it looks fantastic and doesn't detract from the office's overall appearance. The quality is excellent, and it appears to be very durable. Since it is self-sticking, it is simple to use. Additionally, it bends easily around the corners of my desk if you cut and lip certain parts to ensure a proper fit.

Had on for a few months. Did an alright job keeping baby from bumping head, but I would recommend a thicker size. Hard to remove.

I use this for my desk for my wrists, because my keyboard and mouse are positioned weirdly. This makes it MUCH more comfortable to work. Perfect length for my use case as well. This has held up for a few months and is only now starting to disconnected from one of the corners of my desk, but it's a concave one. So it makes a bit more sense. Still a good purchase.

photo offers some comparison between this 2/5x2/5 and B0B2V22QM4 slim-fit kit. i got both to compare before using one. i thought the silicone would protect furniture and walls from other hard impacts, and keep a person from cutting themselves falling on a hard edge. while i like the sleek look of silicone, i felt the airy foam would do a better job of preventing bruising if i fall against it over a hard laminate Ikea furniture edge, so i returned the silicone and kept the foam. i may come back and buy this dense silicone for some other application, but for now the foam would better protect me during those rare times i stumble around half asleep for the bathroom in the middle of the night.

At first it looks like a great product for the job. However, when we stuck it on top of the cot to prevent the little one biting it, he instead picked it off and along came the paper backing off the cot! We did wait a while so that the adhesive had chance to stick for long enough and its a shame how the Mamas and Papas cot was poorly made, but didn't want this to happen to anyone else. The bed is now in a worse condition than before. I think it's fair to say the adhesive wasn't quite strong enough. A real shame...

Came in tight rolls. Was easy to install but Ends of strips peeled up after a few days because the material had been rolled too tightly and had a natural curl up.
