A fantastic keyboard for software development.
A fantastic keyboard that makes almost zero noise and is much easier to type on than the mechanical switches. This uses Cherry's low-profile scissor switches and they are so smooth and easy to type on. It would be amazing if Cherry made custom keycaps for these switches, but I could not find any information on line. Obviously this is not a gaming keyboard, but it does pretty well for gaming even so. Full UK ISO keyboard with 4 additional dedicated function keys, and 6 dedicated media-control keys, although I never really use them. So many keyboards these days seem to have the shifted symbols up-side down on the keys, but this one conforms to the original layout spec, partly why I chose it in the first place.

It suits what I wanted
I was looking for a fairly flat keyboard with a short travel-distance on the keys, this delivered.I have a personal (even petty) dislike of tall key-caps and keys that I have to press a long distance before they register (so mechanical keyboards are out). This isn't as flat and short-travel as a laptop keyboard, but it's more like a hybrid between a laptop keyboard and a standard desktop keyboard (at least as far as "feel" goes; it IS a full sized keyboard!), which I find a really nice sweet-spot, and was exactly what I was looking for when I bought this.No rattling wobbly keys, no mushy key-presses, no temperamental "switches" that only work when they feel like it... feels easy, responsive, and precise, and doesn't cost the earth like most of the supposedly "high end" meme-keyboards I've come across.I can pick this thing up and shake it side-to-side, and hear NOTHING. If I do the same with my other keyboards, it sounds like shaking a tray of Lego with how loose and sloppy everything is. This thing is tight and solid. The keys are nice and bouncy, great feedback, no gimmicks, doesn't miss a beat. 5/5(I was looking back over my past Amazon purchases, I'm surprised to find I've been using this keyboard for coming up on 2 years with no problems, so I decided to drop a review.)

Great keyboard, could tilt more.
Good keyboard, great action, nice weight. Would be perfect if it tipped up at the back just a little further .

Great Full-size Professional Keyboard
A few weeks in of using this keyboard for working from home - and love it.Great quality , love slim profile but not flat so a slight angle. Also I find I can type much faster than traditional keyboards with more key travel. Comfortable to use for 8-12 hours a day.I don't use the media keys but do in some apps make a lot of use of the function keys. But would make more use of them if connected to my home PCNice full size keys - working on excel a good part of the day means the numeric keyboard is a mustI have this hooked into a work laptop - and obviously working on this keyboard is much better than any laptop keyboard especially for extended hours each day. Also forget wireless type keyboards as I find them laggy and miss keystrokes - so maybe OK for home use (browsing) but not suitable for work in my opinion. That said I have an old HP keyboard (25 +years old) that's even heavier than this attached to my home PC and I absolutely love that - this Cherry keyboard is giving that a good run for its money. So if the HP keyboard does eventually break, I would have no problem considering another Cherry Stream. I got mine from Amazon Resale (was Warehouse) and saved myself a tenner, but even at full price would buy and recommend.

Solid keyboard
After using many mechanical keyboards over the years, and my last keyboard sadly buckling after years of relentless Ctrl + C I thought I'd get a cheap replacement while looking for a new daily driver. This became my daily driver.Great build, feels smooth to type on, full sized keyboard and a great price. Should get another just for a backup.

nice to type on and useful shortcuts
Bought to replace a Logik keyboard that I found personally the best for typing with- however that keyboard only lasted 6 months, and whilst I found it a delight to use did not trust a like-for-like replacement to last. I Plumped for this keyboard as did not want to spend a fortune but wanted a full keyboard and was not fussed about being wireless. Very happy with the result - keys are responsive and quiet, travel distances okay, firm and responsive to presses. I appreciate the media shortcut keys as I use the computer to play music or radio as I work - on most other keyboards these are FN key combos. A few other shortcut keys, which are useful though not yet in the habit of using them. It's physically a bit deeper than many other keyboards as the media keys above the FN key line, and it weighs significantly more than any other keyboard I've had for a long time - it feels really solid and sturdy. So far enjoying using this and just hope it lasts longer than the other. One point to note - I use a KVM switch as use same monitor with two computers - the media/shortcut keys did not work with keyboard plugged into the KVM switch which was initially disappointing but an issue with the switch not the keyboard. But playing around I found they do work when attached to a USB hub connected to the switch
