Very sharp out of the box and they seem to be made for a decent quality steel. Durable. They’ve held their edges so far, after moderate use. Order includes a cloth satchel and nice plastic storage case. I ran them across a buffer when I first got them but they really didn’t need it. You can maintain the edge by just stropping them every so often, while you work. Impressive tool at this low price point. Fast shipping

As a beginner in leather working, These punches have been amazing! the tips have held up well and are still sharp even after using a small sledge hammer to punch stitching holes. They are a good weight and thickness that makes them easy to use and the remaining holes easy to stich.

I am only a beginner in leather work, therefor my opinion is not from a professional or experienced craftsman. These are working well for me, considering the cost they seem to be well made and functional. Certainly not the high polish or cost of a set used by someone who does this for a living. But for the novice they are good quality at a reasonable cost.

Nice thick quality

I’ve used these in a few different sizes for the past couple years. I’ve always been very impressed with what you get for the price. The diamond chisel is clean and uniform, and they come super sharp. For someone getting into leather working this is a great buy! I’d recommend getting the 3mm, 4mm, and even 5mm for the price to play around with and see what works best for your work. They are not heavy duty and will eventually need replacing, but they do the job and are lightweight, easy to use, and very affordable. For the beginning and intermediate leather enthusiasts I would definitely recommend these!

Working well for me. I am punching through two layers of 9/10 ounce vegetable tan leather (that's about 5/16" total) and they are working. They are just barely long enough for that, but I don't know that other punches are any longer. I'm using the 5mm set, sewing with 1.0 Tiger thread and a size 2 John James needle. Great value for the money.

These are some nice irons for money. Very sharp and sturdy and they pierce leather with ease. I knew my old set was getting dull, they were cheapos to begin with but boy what a difference! I didn't realize mine were that far gone. I got busy with this new set of Aiskaer chisels and punching leather was fun again. I liked them so much that I also got a set of 3mm chisels. I didn't even bother waiting for my old ones to get dull, I just replaced them and I'm glad I did it. I would absolutely recommend these stitching chisels to anyone needing new ones on a budget.

Broke the tip off one, didn’t even make it through many projects

I find these a great little set, though I'm no pro, i get nice results using these . Delivered ontime no issues

New to leatherworking, these worked great. Came sharp, tines are all straight. I'm happy with them as starter tools.
