WACOOL Automatic Reptile Dripper, Reptile Drinking Fountain Water Dispenser for Chameleon Iguana Crested Gecko Lizard Amphibians

Got this for my chameleon, Mochi, and she so far used it quite often. Although I don’t often see her using it personally, my boyfriend has seen her use it many times and her unrated have been healthy. The only issue I have is the streams begin as a waterfalls and eventually the water only flows down the leaves and my Cham doesn’t always see the flow necessarily. Sometimes I fiddle with the top and the leaves so it offers a better stream for her. The pegs fit perfectly fine in the mesh cage and didn’t cause much damage at all, if any at all. This also hold a really decent amount of water.

Its worked fantastically so far and its quiet and does well with holding water and my Knight Anole has been drinking fine from it. The pump it comes is functional but it would disconnect from the tube on occasion because its small. I already had a slightly bigger pump at home and just replaced it and now the disconnecting problem stopped. So maybe a slightly larger one would be better. great product still!!

It hangs very easily in my mesh enclosure without the need to make any additional holes in it. It's very quiet and provides a wonderful little waterfall for my chameleon to drink from. Much better than just a regular drip feature as this keeps the water contained and you don't have to worry about a watery mess.

I had to superglue the suction cup it was so bad. It is a hard device to clean and gets dirty fast. I already threw it away and replaced. i would not recommend.UPDATE-The pump totally failed withing 4 months. The plastic turns white where water sits in it. I WILL NEVER BUY anything from this company again... Just more cheap imports that Amazon should quit selling.

Let me begin with the positive. These water fountains are decent looking and blend into the natural look of my chameleons enclosure fairly well. They work as intended, supplying a constant fountain of water cascading down some fake foliage. The not-so-great aspects are that they only come with a suction cup mount, so anyone with a screen enclosure will have to get creative on how they are mounted. Secondly, they are noisy. I can hear the motors running and the water trickling all the time, so I always know that they're on and running. This is not always an unwelcome sound, but it might be something you find unbearably annoying. The bad aspects are the price, quality and availability of replacement parts. For what it is, this is fairly expensive. Especially when ordering more than one, which I could live with if it were a better made product. They are overly simple in their design and a bit of a pain to put together correctly, even with them being so simple. I don't have a need for the suction cup mount, but I can't imagine that actually working to secure this within a glass enclosure with the weight of water added to it. Finally, the unavailability of replacement parts is really the deal-breaker on this product. The filters need to be replaced frequently and I have yet to find somewhere that supplies them. There appears to be no website or contact for WaCool that I have found, but I will update this in the event that I can find something. Reading through other's reviews, I was very optimistic about this product, but my chameleons have largely ignored it and resort to drinking water off the leaves when their misters got off. I have yet to see them take a drink from one of these and I have two different chameleons. Some things to think about before making a purchase. Hope this was helpful!

Works great

This could be awesome, but they half commit to it. They give you the little adapter to hang it from a screen/mesh setup but they make the electric plug adapter solid so it would leave a huge hole if it had to go through the screen. If you could detach the cord and only pull a thin cord through instead of a whole outlet and there was a rubber washer to put on the other side around the cable to seal it in this would be fantastic. Instead, you’d have to make a big hole that all the bugs could crawl through. It’s a cool gadget, just not as helpful as you think. Now I have to send it back.

Use it to record work conference calls and love it so I can take better notes. The battery lasts a long time, it's very clear to listen to, and it's easy to play back recordings. I bought another model that only lasted about 2 months and now it won't turn on. The quality of this one also seems very sturdy.
