Worked as advertised. Easy to install, keeps my skeg from hitting the the ground by accident and covers the chunk the previous owner took out of it.

After a long and tiring day on the water, I accidentally forgot to lift my outboard before pulling my trailered boat from the water. While pulling the boat from the water I felt and heard a noise that no one wants to hear, the outboard's skeg was dragging along the boat ramp. Stopping immediately, lifting the motor, and expecting the worst, I was very relieved to see that the skeg was fully intact and the only minor damage that occurred was to the bottom edge of the Megaware SkegPro I had installed a few months earlier. I would highly recommend this product. No one expects to do what I did, but if/when it happens, and you have this product installed, you'll be glad you purchased it.

Product worked as it should. It’s good quality. Always looking for more ways to throw money into my boat… Lol. The skeg guard was easy to install and I feel better about protecting that outdrive.
