Effective, sturdy set
I bought this kit particularly for one 10mm rusted bolt that became rounded off that was on my truck when I was changing the headlamps. I used the next smaller size which is a 3/8 and the bolt came off effortlessly. Literally without even trying. Minimal if not no wear on the tool socket itself. And separated from the bolt by hand. Great set for these jobs. Not sure how hardcore or heavy duty of a job it can handle but it seems like it can do most jobs for DIY guys.

Great for removing stripped pan head beadlock bolts!
I bought this to get a beadlock bolt out of an expensive wheel. I had already sprayed the bolt with some lubricant and put the 8mm socket over the head and tapped it on with my hammer. I attached a 3/8 inch drive ratchet to it and it came off without exerting any real force on it. I didnโt know these guys existed. Thank you so much for this tool!

The best bolt extractor set.
I was trying to remove the oil sump/pan bolt for changing the oil on my engine. I tried everything and rounded the head off completely. I bought the platinumedge, used a rubber mallet to tap it on the head of the bolt. It took one tap on the wrench and it came loose on the first tap with no effort. I threw the away the bolt. I wish I took a photo to upload as proof of the rounded head. I would definitely recommend this product and it value for money compared to the rest of the stuff I was looking at and I am not a mechanic.
